The hotel is very conveniently located some 100 Meters outside the old city. This has the advantage that the car may be parked a very short walk away on a public parking. The hotel is in a newly and completly refurbished old building. We had a standard room which was very large, traditionally, but nicely decorated. Excellent bed, quite at night. what was a little strange is that a large bathtub was standing in room and also was seerved as the visual divider to the washbasin (so virtually no protection); the toilet was separate, though. Staff is professional, but quite unpersonal. It has to be mentioned that value for money is such a touristic place is extraordinary.

We stayed here for three nights. The room was clean, large and spacious, with lots of storage space. Our room (Michelangelo) was on the back and it was quiet. Lots of towels, a decent blow dryer, and plenty of shampoo, body soap. Huge shower! Included a mini fridge. AC was great too, just needed to ask the front desk to turn it on. The location is ideal. Short walk from the train station and central to the town. The breakfast room is cheery and had plenty of options including fresh fruit, cheeses, cold meats, boiled eggs, pastries, toast, cereal, OJ and coffee to order. The bed and bedding is okay. Pillows and mattresses are a bit tired. That said, we slept very well! Our only problem was the wifi in our room. It was not reliable and cut off often. Very frustrating and we could not rely on it.

The best feature of this hotel is it's proximity to the train station - a four minute walk. That was helpful for us relative to our plans and it's about a 10 minute walk to the center and more attractive features of Arezzo. It's an old and tired hotel though. Breakfast was plentiful. We had a room in the front of the hotel overlooking the street and it was so noisy, even with the windows and shutters completely shut. Because of the noise on the street ( people partying, sirens, dogs barking), we could not sleep and the noise sirens, did not subside until 2 am. A bad experience and we would not return again.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights with my friends to visit Arezzo and surrounding areas such as Cortona and Passigliano sul Trasimeno. Convenient hotel because it is located close to the center and all the beauties of Arezzo. Basic room with shower and clean. Excellent breakfast with quality raw materials e.g. Ferrero Nutella Bianco Mulino rusks and a lot of choice of fresh fruit. I found it well and the room prices were within the norm of a 4 star and it is located near the station and also has private parking.

My wife and I stayed two nights. The hotel is located a stone's throw from the center, the room we were assigned was huge, a little retro but, given the context, I would have been surprised otherwise. Nothing to say about cleanliness. The staff at the reception were very courteous and helpful, they gave us all the information both on what to visit in the city and on the restaurants that offer local menus. Excellent experience

Let's start with the positive notes: the hotel is in a good position to reach the city center and is close to a covered car park. We can add the kindness of the person at the reception and the size of the room assigned to us. Negative notes; the location is absolutely not attractive and neither is the hotel lobby. The kindness of the person at the reception does not compensate for the fact that no type of valid information is provided to us, even upon request. The large room is furnished with a very particular taste and has, incredibly, a bathtub and shower "in full view" (the bathroom is reserved for toilets); unfortunately my current physical shape did not allow me to even take a shower! Breakfast is the worst though; it is served in a small, poorly lit room with a decidedly poor and very poor quality buffet. The fruit juice was unmarked and "tasted like broth". Finally, how the hotel can boast 4 stars is a mystery in my opinion.

Large and particular room with exposed bathtub and large shower. Unfortunately there were no windows but only skylights closed by the curtain to avoid the light on the eyes in the morning. A very small window (I think 40x20) very high up which I managed to open to have the sensation of not being closed in a box. We went down to ask for a room with windows and the doorman kindly showed us the only one available: an ugly room with a very old and shabby look, so much so that I kept the one without windows. I decide to go to sleep but I am forced to brush my teeth choosing between hot or very hot water because no cold water came out of the tap even though I had tried to run water from the tub and shower as well. In the morning I realize that the wall hairdryer isn't working, obviously after the shower. I try to call the front desk but the phone in the room is off the hook (because everyone has cell phones, they told me later). We manage to have a hairdryer sent to us which has a cable that is about 40cm long. When we pointed out to the reception, too kindly at this point, that there were some inefficiencies, we did not have any excuse, in fact the response was an evidently annoyed expression. All this for a room paid €100 obviously upon our arrival and before having the keys. I gave it a 2 only because the location was convenient to the center and the night porter was very kind.

The hotel lacks all essential services. The room appears to be perpetually cold; the "fake" hot air never heats the room and is also noisy. In the hope of heating the room you have to leave it on at night with the consequence that you cannot sleep due to its noise. The hot water never arrives: the times are 10 seconds of hot water and perpetual cold water. The breakfast room does not have tables suited to the amount of people in the hotel; we were forced to stand in the hall in the cold and with the drinks never arriving. Being on the main road and not being equipped with soundproof windows, it is like being outdoors with the consequence that it is difficult to sleep at night. Furthermore, it is not cheap at all, on the contrary. I've never reviewed any hotel even if I've been sick but this one hit rock bottom.

Good location near the historic center and 5 minutes walk from the station. Very kind staff. Large rooms furnished in retro style. Cozy environment, lift available. Water available in the minibar. Bathroom divided into two areas.
