My partner and I were looking forward to spending the evening in Arezzo. We planned to go to the hotel for the Antique Fair . Unfortunately, the hotel sent an email the day we were supposed to arrive modifying the times the valet service /parking was available. We picked this hotel specifically because of its location and the parking options. The change, though perhaps insignificant to some, was enough of an inconvenience to our plans and expectations that we would have canceled had the email notifying us of the changes to the parking arrangement been sent before the 48-hour "no cancelation window." I called to ask the hotel if we could cancel our reservation and they said no because the request was within the 48-hour window. I tried to explain that, we were canceling because they modified the agreed terms and did not let us know with enough notice for us to cancel, but they were unmoved. They said they cannot be responsible for updating "everybody" when changes occur to what they are offering. I respectfully disagree. I am thankful that they were willing to speak to me in English and they did try and problem solve for us, but it was not sufficient. It is unfair for a hotel to say to a guest that a change in parking is insignificant because guests "only have to walk a little farther." It ignores the reality that a guest might be in a wheel chair, using braces, tired, or just old. The manager offered a voucher (and emailed us a voucher), but I do not see myself staying at Graziella Patio Hotel when I return to Arezzo. We ended up canceling our reservation without a refund.

This hotel was extremely uncomfortable. The bed was like a cement block, making it literally impossible to sleep. No robes, no full-length mirror. Our adapter to charge our phones kept slipping out of the sockets so we were left with too little charge for the day. Breakfast was not only meager, but very strange. You have to order the night before and then the lady brings it to you, but be aware if you have a driver coming. It happens in slow stages.

Central hotel. ‘Valet’ type car parking for €20 per day which is definitely worth it having driven around to find the hotel. It’s worth noting that as the hotel is ‘in’ the ‘no car drive zone’ - as you are staying, you can drive in all of these areas; the number plate is then reported so that you won’t receive a fine… GOOD Character Deluxe Double room with amazing air con - effective and quiet. Big window in main bedroom and bathroom letting in lots of light. Mini fridge in room which we kept some of our stuff in. Several places to get breakfast just outside the door as hotel was very centrally located but I was getting fed up of pastries! Requested quiet room and it was, despite lots of bars around. NOT QUITE SO GOOD… Nowhere to put luggage or open your suitcase - just one very tiny luggage rack which you couldn’t even open a normal size suitcase. No seating area - room quite compact. It’s called the ‘ Graziella Patio Hotel’ but there is no patio or terrace to sit. SUMMARY We loved Arezzo; seemed a good mixture of tourists and locals, architecture, shops, bars and restaurants.

Very central hotel in Arezzo, very nice and well furnished room. Quiet and peaceful and very clean. The bathroom is spacious and well furnished. The room is not very big but with well managed spaces, it is not uncomfortable at all. Kind staff.

Excellent location a stone's throw from the church of San Francesco, strategic for visiting the center of Rezzi, cozy and quiet room, kind reception, easy management of the car with the indicated parking spaces or with the car valet service (which I did not use). Excellent.

The hotel is located in an excellent position in the historic center. It has a convenient car valet service upon arrival, while upon departure they were very slow in returning the car to us. Especially if you have to leave early in the morning they don't deliver before 8.30/9. The hotel does not offer breakfast but there is a bar right nearby that offers excellent products. Overall good experience

The value for money is terrible. I am of the opinion that a night at €145 must offer the customer impeccable perfection and cleanliness. Instead I found a card in the tub and although 2 of the staff to whom I showed it went up to the room, I later found it on the floor. This means that neither of the 2 had the care to throw it in the dustbin. The unkind but rather arrogant concierge, despite having asked her to kindly let me know when the room would be ready, instead of making me go around with my luggage, didn't let me know. she called, which cost her nothing. So I kept wandering around town, thinking she wasn't ready, since we had agreed that she would text me. Then I found a white hair on the fruit desk. And while one is eating it sucks to come across a stranger's hair. With 150 euros spent I hoped that at breakfast I would be graced with abundance! Well no! There was no buffet at the Patio, but what a grace from Graziella! The waitress tells me that she doesn't have fruit yogurt, but only whole white ones and then with some manners.... Grumpy as she calls me darling. I pointed out to her that I was not her friend. A continuous battle and not even a discount after they screwed up so much. They really don't know how to do tourism!

Beautiful hotel in the historic center in a period building. My very spacious room, very large bathroom, large TV with sky channels, spacious and very comfortable double bed. Well-stocked mini bar, assorted snacks and free fruit. Excellent bathroom courtesy kit. Excellent terry bath towels, excellent sheets. beautiful new furniture and good cleaning. Very friendly and courteous staff. There is no breakfast, but they have an agreement with a very nice and well-stocked pastry bar, just a stone's throw away. Close to all the tourist attractions on foot. Highly recommended.
