We had a great 2 night stay here. It is in a great location and the staff are really friendly and accommodating. We had made a mistake with our booking but they were so lovely about it. The hostel offers free daily walking tours and it is also very easy to book tours through them. We booked a 1 day Colca Canyon tour which was great. The rooms are clean and tidy with warm showers which is always a bonus! Also breakfast is included. This was very tasty and we were able to enjoy it with a great view of the volcanoes from the rooftop. Excellent place!

We loved our stay at Lonko hostel. We arrived early on the night bus and they managed to facilitate an early check in for us which was great. The rooms are clean and spacious. The roof top bar was great with a friendly bar tender - we did the pisco sour class and had a great time! Breakfast was the best we have had at a hostel. Great value and highly recommend if coming to Arequipa. We also organised our Colca Canyon tour through them and they sorted it all out.

This hostel is one of the best hostels I’ve been to on my trip through Central and South America! The vibe and professionalism of the staff is extraordinary. The dorm i slept in was really clean and it was an overall nice quiet stay. A BIIIIIIIG shoutout to the included breakfast (pancakes with coffee is to die for!!) Last but not least the helpfulness of the staff is amazing. Emily is a really friendly receptionist that helped me multiple times to make my Arequipa visit one to remember. Definitely would come back here

I had a great welcoming feeling at Lonko hostel. Joysa and the hostel team are always with a smile and willing to help you. It is possible to see they keep trying to improve their hosting service day by day. I would definitely stay there again. You will be helping a working family business to grow.
