Aparthotel Ferrer Skyline

After a crappy holiday last year and the first time away without the kids in 20 years, we thought we'd play it safe and come to Menorca, an island we know very well. This time round, instead of a hotel or villa near the beach, we thought we'd stay in Cuitadella, where we often visit when staying elsewhere on the island. The wife chose this aparthotel and what a gem. Wonderful staff, rooms are spotless and big enough in terms of space to just spread out. We had room 7002 ,x2 bedrooms, x2 bathrooms, utility room and open plan front room, diner & kitchen which had full size fridge/freezer, dishwasher home from home if you wanted a night in. It was ground floor and had a nice small courtyard front garden, part patio / astro turf with views of the sea and the pool, which was a hop away. Very chilled atmosphere with mix of couples, families, singles you name it and plenty of space for all to just relax and and so peaceful of a night. The rooms were cleaned every single day and could not fault anything. Less than 10 min walk from heart of Cuitadella, and if you hire car near all the main motorways to get around the island, and a lidls 9mins away to stock that fridge up with beer n wine. Will def come back here again to this hotel it was a perfect location, and it enabled us hit the ground running and enjoy our 10 days the min we got there. Highly recommend this place.

The Skyline provides a clean stylish holiday accommodation, and a first rate location. Its sits prominently on a bit of a rocky headland so commands incredible views West. You can sit all day long on your balcony or from the sea-end of the pool watching the boats and the occasional ferry, and the sunsets are magnificent. Equally, you can take a stunning walk in to Cuitadella and be at the beautiful harbour in 10 minutes or be deep in the Old Town (which is incredible if you like a bit of authentic Spanish history, architecture, and atmosphere) in 15 minutes max. Apartments themselves are well designed, spacious, and are really clean (cleaners come in everyday unless you ask them not to). Kitchen is quite spacious, separated off from the main living space by a breakfast bar, and is kitted out well enough for you to do some 'proper' cooking should you wish ! And there are at least 2 smaller but very well stocked supermarkets within about a 10 minute walk so you can easily stock up the fridge. There are a couple of larger supermarkets a bit further away, but these are more likely car-distance. The pool is beautiful, and the clarity of the water in the pool is exceptional ! Pool bar is small but well stocked, and well run by Carlos the barman, who is very welcoming. Staff really helpful and professional on reception. All in all a really great holiday for us - relaxed, low key, in absolutely fabulous surroundings that were peaceful-but-lively, and authentically Spanish.

Spacious, comfortable apartment with good facilities and large balcony with good ocean view. Very clean throughout, with comfortable beds. Good sized kitchen and dining area. Underground car parking available at an additional cost - useful during busy periods when on street car parking may be limited. Helpful, friendly staff. A 15 minute walk from the town centre, although there area few cafes and restaurants nearer to the hotel.

We enjoyed our first stay here. Does everything you need for a holiday. It has a kitchen and sitting room as well as two bathrooms and bedrooms. It isn’t luxury but it is comfortable, clean and modern with a big pool. We had an issue with our WiFi and Christian moved us to an apartment that had excellent connectivity. Also excellent in doing everything to make your trip as enjoyable as possible.

2nd consecutive year staying at Ferrer Skyline. Stayed here for 1 week this year in penthouse apartment 6311. Huge apartment with 3 bedrooms & a ‘luggage’ room. Showers in 2 bathrooms, one of which was very small (shower). The 3rd bathroom had a bath combining a shower. Views of the ocean just amazing. The staff here are just outstanding. How they can keep smiling all day I just don’t know! Satisfied holidayers & good business structure perhaps? The pools are very clean if not very heated but the weather was so hot this first week in October’23 that they were quite refreshing. Restaurants are plenty in Cuitadella & if you are good with walking the first of many is about a 20 minute stroll. Ohh, & we needed the air conditioning even though it was October! Restaurants to note: Pins 46. Fab food & service. Reasonable prices. Didn’t have steak due to bad Tripadviser reviews. This was our go to place for a Menorcan gnt most evenings. The garden restaurant area is really lovely. Ate here twice. S’Aiguat. We have tried a few places for a paella & found this one, so far, to be the best. Fresh ingredients unlike the tourist trap Aquarium restaurant down by the marina. That was in 2022 & we wouldn’t go back. Frozen mushy reheated prawns & horrible greasy salty rice! Yuk! S’Aiguat on the other hand was excellent. Nicely seasoned & gorgeous prawns. This restaurant is right next to the fish market too if you want to buy your own seafood to make your own paella back at the apartment. I did! La Guitarra. Changed hands since last year but still very good food. Minimal tapas choice but can recommend the clams & potato bravas. Very cute inside. El Hogar Del Porro. For a relatively cheap eatery this a place that’s just somewhere to be with the locals. Rustic & very Spanish. Reasonable choice of tapas but all very well cooked. The boiled octopus with paprika was probably the most tender I’ve ever eaten. At 7pm one evening there were queues outside! NOTE - You can’t make a reservation. Corb Mari. Can be found down by the marina. Stopped here for a late lunch & both me & Suzanne chose the sea bass. It came with a few very nice sauted potatoes. Excellent food! Cooked perfectly & these were 2 big fish! After looking them up on Tripadviser we read a number of poor reviews & decided not to risk an evening meal here. Perhaps we should have. Fusion Cafe. Can be found along the seafront about a 20 minute walk from Skyline. Food was average. My burger was a tad dry but tasty. Suzanne had a beetroot falafel kebab. The kebab outer was too dry, crunchy in fact, but the contents were superb. Chips were fab! Good place for a beer too after a hard day’s holiday making. Make sure you don't go here in a bikini top, or anywhere else apparently. They (the restaurant) can get a fine of €200 so they won’t serve you. Bathing: The small beach next to Fusion Cafe is ok but it’s a bit smelly (sulphur). Our favourite for snorkelling can be found at Sa Farola Beach. Not many sunbathing spo

We stayed here for a week and what a treat it was. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a lovely ground floor Seaview room. The apartments were ckean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped (even the knives were sharpened). The view was fantastic and we loved watching the ferries and yachts come and go. The pool was great and the sun loungers very comfortable. Citudella itself was a 10 minute walk away - a beautiful city with a great choice of restaurants. All around a great holiday and would certainly recommend.

As a family of five adults we had a very spacious apartment. The setting of this hotel is beautiful. Our apartment was very clean and cleaned and serviced every day. The two pools were lovely, both very clean. We found the reception staff efficient and friendly and very helpful with recommendations of where to eat. There was a supermarket a short walk away. The Hotel is a 10/15 minute walk from the centre, a pleasant walk along the harbour side. There are loads of great places to eat and drink in the centre. Most evenings there was a market to walk around. The cathedral and art galleries are also interesting. We did not hire a car but the bus service was good to the places we visited. There is a small beach about 10 mins walk away Platja Gran. Cala Santandria is a 45 min walk away nice beach with lovely restaurants/bar. If you don't want to walk into town there is a Japanese/Chinese restaurant/takeaway close by very reasonable, clean serving delicious food. Everything was very easy going and easy to manage. A great relaxing holiday.

Lovely, friendly serviced apartments, great location a short walk from central Ciutadella, super clean pool with plenty of space for those who want to relax and a great view of Castell de Sant Nicolau Short walk to Platya Gran to swim in the sea.

This was our 5th visit to Skyline and it was as excellent as expected. Staff as wonderful and welcoming as ever…Christian, Evan, Alexandra and whoever else I’ve forgotten - thank you! We will certainly be back.
