Nuramar Resort & Villas

WAs not sure what to expect as we typically book a private villa with our own pool. We were not disappointed with what we found at Nuramar Resort. It is small resort with a number of Villa blocks and apartments. Our Villa was 2 bedded and 2 bathrooms and was ideal in every way, kitchen was clean and had a large fridge freezer, sink, kettle, toaster and microwave and ample plates cups etc The bedrooms were 1 x double bed and 1 x single beds (the single bed room had no power sockets and when mentioned to reception, they provided a 5m extension lead, which worked well) There is a reception (not 24x7) with wonderful staff, a bar area, restaurant both inside and outside seating. The pool area is clean with many sunloungers and we spent all our afternoons there. Close by are bars, restaurants and supermarkets

Our young family of 4 had a really nice week at Nuramar. It’s the next best thing to renting a private villa but with reception and a small, simple, decent and reasonably priced restaurant included. Unlike Zafiro next door (with 140 odd appartments), Nuramar has 40 or something so it’s very chilled, plenty of space between villas, as much interactions with other guests as you want, and the pool is never packed and always sun lounges available. While the villas aren’t the most modern and could do with some updating, they are very spacious and has everything you need for a very nice stay.

Nice enough for a basic dated property in desperate need of refurbishing. Defiantly not in our opinion a 4* it’s a 3* especially for the price we paid. The pool area is ok and gardens are well kept. Staff are lovely. Cleaning is not very good. We had our villa serviced not cleaned 3 times in 17 days. This was just clean sheets towels and toilet roll. No actual clean. The bar is very basic with limited and expensive drinks ( vodka and coke €10 wine €5 for a small glass) very limited food menu mainly pizza and burgers. You certainly couldn’t eat every day there. There are two good supermarkets within a 5 minute walk which was great but there is no oven in apartment just two rings and a microwave so very limited with meals. The pool itself was ok good temperature for little ones. Sun-beds were comfortable and no need to rush out in morning to reserve. There is a pool attendant but he seems to do a bit of everything so not always attentive. Reception staff helpful. Good laundry room with a large washer which dispenses detergent and softener for €4. Larger than your domestic machine. Good tumbler but we didn’t need it. There is a small yard in villa for hanging washing. Air conditioning in both bedrooms and lounge/ dining area which was very efficient . Overall a pleasant holiday just expected more for the price we paid. Taxi easy from airport and cost us €75 for 3 with luggage.

What a little gem this place is. We travelled as a group of 3 adults and had a wonderful time at Nuramar. The villas were really well equipped, nicely spaced out, had a lovely patio with table and chairs and really effective air conditioning (which we really appreciated as it was very hot when we were there!). The pool area was immaculately kept and a fantastic place to relax and spend the day. We never had an issue getting sun loungers and sometimes had the pool entirely to our selves. It had a really friendly family vibe and music playing at just the right level. Food and drinks were great, good prices and we loved that the wine was served in chilled glasses - nice touch. They even delivered it to your lounger round the pool. We'd love to say a huge thank you to all the staff we encountered during our stay. The communication with the front desk was superb and everyone was just so friendly. You all really made our holiday! We would not hesitate to recommend to our friends and family - and hope to come back!

Stayed here for a week, 2 bed apartment/villas very spacious, clean and tidy. Great pool area suitable for all ages. Staff excellent, friendly and attentive. Brilliant location 10 minutes from beach and bustling marina area.

Lovely complex, clean and tidy. Our apartment was very spacious with great aircon and all the accessories that we could require. Great shower, great pool, food was lovely. Staff were fantastic, super friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again!

Very much enjoyed our August family break, with children (2.5 and 9 months). The appartments are a good size, feel well separated from each other yet the clustering around a central pool made it feel friendly. The pool itself was great, especially given. the (very good) beaches are a little walk away. The marina down the road is a good place for walking around and plenty of places to eat. The on site restaurant was convenient for one night and attractive setting by the pool but not much variation so we self catered the rest. Would note that the kitchenette is fairly basic as they normally are. Would highly recommend the customer service, both in reception and restaurant. Very helpful in arranging taxis, giving out information on buses, moving high chairs around for us. I don't know if August 2021 in semi-covid restricted season was quieter than normal, but we definitely found it a peaceful place.
