The hotel is situated 325 km from Nairobi, in the middle of the park, next to the new Oryx airstrip. It is accessible from the main Isiolo-Moyale road at both the Ngare Mara and Archer's Post junctions. It is built overlooking the wildlife-rich banks of the Ewaso Ng'iro River.The hotel comprises 60 en suite rooms, all with balconies with views of the hills, plains and river surrounding the lodge. Thirty cottages forming a buffalo horn pattern converge at the public facilities area, leaving room to roam among the wildlife and access to the waterhole.
