We had an excellent 2 night stay at this beautiful bed and breakfast. The owners are extremely hospitable and wanted to be sure our stay was perfect. They were also kind enough to make dinner reservations for us at The Old Boatyard which I highly recommend. The establishment is in a quiet neighborhood and there is ample parking at the rear of the property. It is a short drive to the downtown core and many restaurants. Breakfast is made to order and there is ample choices. Every small detail is provided for you: chocolates on your pillows and bowls of Swiss chocolate to help yourself in the lounge. You are welcome to an open bar and snacks at any time. The front yard is expansive and there are throws to keep you warm in the cooler evenings while you enjoy the grounds. There are bowls of fresh fruit available to you in the hallways. The room had every amenity you could think of - juice and water in your mini bar fridge; robes and slippers; shoe shine kit; etc. If you like to be pampered and appreciate all the small extras to make your stay so special, don't hesitate to book; I would happily return. They deserve more than 5 stars.

The place is very nice, clean. The rooms are spacious. The hosts are always there to help you in everything. The breakfast is excellent they are using some products from farms. I cannot say one thing wrong from the place. My friend is living in Arbroath and I will stay again in this gem when I visit her next year.

Very good B&B. House beutifully decorated with attention to detail. Very clean. Room was spacious and the large bed was very comfortable. Hosts were friendly but not intrusive. Plenty of parking space. Breakfast was good. Altogether a five star experience.

Just home from a lovely night away to celebrate my husband’s birthday doing sea kayaking and we stayed at this BnB. I can honestly say it was perfect.,the hosts ure and Anita were very welcoming and attentive. Making sure the occasion was special for my husband leaving a lovely bottle of Prosecco and some Swiss chocolates for him. The attention to detail in the accommodation fantastic, everything was thought of. Breakfast was beautiful and we both had a great sleep in the eilen Donan suite. If we were in the area we would definitely stay here again. Thank you to our hosts for making our stay special,

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Brucefield. As other reviewers have said, nothing has been overlooked in this incredibly well detailed boutique property. Urs and Anita are really first-class hosts, friendly, warm and welcoming. The breakfast is fabulous, with a wide variety on offer (we went for the full Scottish on both days and everything on the plate was served to perfection). The easy walk along the footpath bordering Arbroath cliffs is a great start to the day & takes you into the harbour area and the town beyond. Outstanding stay - thanks Anita & Urs!!

Absolutely stunning , this is B&B on another level. The hosts are the perfect mix of attentive and allow you to have your own space. The decor of the house is breathtaking , the rooms are spotless and have every convenience you could wish for. The breakfast is fantastic, with a varied choice and ALWAYS fresh. This is hospitality at the higher end of the market, without the price tag. I cannot recommend Brucefield Boutique B&B highly enough. Comfortable beds, phenomenal en suite and massive rooms with plenty of space for luggage etc. you won’t be disappointed , believe me.

Arrived early, sorry. However it was not a problem for the Swiss owners. They made me feel very welcome. They have thought of everything from gratis refreshments and snacks available for guests. A library of DVD’s and CD’s is available. Tea and coffee in the bedroom. Lovely bed linen and complimentary bath robes. Breakfast was delicious and the owners were very attentive. Being the only guest last night I felt spoiled. Lovely B&B. Thanks

I rarely write a review whilst still at a property, but this place warrants it! I travel a lot, stay in hotels, b&b's and holiday rental accommodation regularly. The Brucefield is the best property I have ever stayed in for the following reasons, firstly the owners are extremely welcoming and joyful. The rooms are huge, impeccably clean and comfortable and every small thing has been thought of. Complimentary fridge has water (still and sparkling) orange juice and milk for guests, tea, coffee biscuits all in the room. In reception there is an area which is also Complimentary for guests which has snacks, wines, beers and soft drinks as well as DVD's, CD's, board games to keep you entertained. The breakfast was made with quality ingredients and you have plenty to choose from each day. The grounds are peaceful and relaxing and the property is a 30 min walk to the town and harbour. Perfect location for peace and quiet. I was here for my birthday and the hosts added some prosecco, flowers and chocolates to my room which was lovely. The beds are super comfortable and the stand alone bath was an amazing addition to the beautiful shower and bathroom. I highly recommend you stay here if you are in the area. I will be back!

We are from Edinburgh and booked a night in Arbroath. We chose the Brucefield based on the location and facilities. It was the best choice we made about our trip. The hosts are incredibly attentive. Nothing is too much hassle. The rooms were immaculate, the breakfast was lovingly cooked and served by the hosts. With little nods to Switzerland, these are hosts that have embedded their Swiss roots into their Scottish home. The rooms are spacious and packed with everything you need for a perfect nights stay. You will not leave the Brucefield Boutique anything less than satisfied and relaxed. Thank you.
