I am very happy to be able to book such a high-quality resort on Ctrip! We stayed for a week. Arbatax Resort is very large, built on a tropical hillside. There are three private beaches of different styles at the foot of the mountain. It should be the resort with the most beautiful beaches we have ever stayed in! The water temperature in the central and eastern parts is also very comfortable. It is much warmer than the water temperature in the north. Be sure to bring diving supplies. There are so many tropical fish, seaweed and sea urchins! Four swimming pools, several restaurants, and Italian cuisine will not disappoint you! For the buffet breakfast, it is recommended to eat on the outdoor terrace on the second floor, the view is unparalleled! Playing tennis and padel is a bit expensive! However, you can participate in daily group fitness classes for free, and the coach is a sexy personal trainer from Florence! Cars are not allowed into the village, so you need to take the free bus to the parking lot at the gate🅿️! You can also walk to the parking lot, which is uphill and downhill so you can digest some Italian food!

I would not recommend this place to anyone. The place has once apon s time been good, but the place is not maintained properly, outdated rooms, ants in our bedroom, various issues with safe, toilet, shower, etc. when we complained and wanted a new room, the hotel manager Vivienne said it was normal for a park resort to expect ants in bedroom. My dauther had varoius bites on her legs from the aunts. The managers are rude, not helpful, and do not look after the customers. The drivers that take your luggage to the room are great, very helpful and very attentive - maybe better suited for customer service than the managers themselves! The food and drink was rarely good. No fresh fruit at breakfast, as is expected in a place like this. The drinks in the restaurant was awful (white and red wine on tap), and no option to buy a decent bottle. There are lots of walking between the beach, accomodation, pool and restaurants. If you have issues walking hills, absolutely not for you. One thing that was very good on the resort is the private beach. It is spacious, beds are far apart, and swimming is great. Overall, don’t come here, find a place on the south, west, or north, it is nothing to do outside the resort, and far to travel anywhere. Managers are not helpful when you have issues, and threating you very badly.

Disappointing Food and Room Quality, Not Up to 4-Star Standards We arrived at the resort on the 26th and are due to leave on the 1st. We chose the full board option, expecting a relaxing and enjoyable family holiday. The location is beautiful, and the swimming pools and beach are decent, but that’s about where the positives end. The rooms are in dire need of improvement; they feel outdated and not up to the standard you would expect from a 4-star hotel. However, the biggest letdown is the food. The buffet is extremely limited, especially for children. Despite being in Italy, there is no pizza available unless you pay extra, which is disappointing given that it’s a staple in Italian cuisine. While pasta is always present, there are no other child-friendly options like chicken or basic dishes suitable for kids. There’s a juice dispenser available only at breakfast, but nothing similar is provided during lunch or dinner—not even fresh orange juice. It feels like the hotel is cutting corners, which is unacceptable given the full board package we paid for. I was really looking forward to this holiday, but the food quality and room standards have been a major letdown. I expected much better from a4star resort.

Arbatax Park is a somewhat difficult place to review. Some things were great. Some things were extremely frustrating. Our room was located at the top of the resort. A great view and loads of steps. It kept us fit. The room itself was fine although there were definite improvements that could have been made (one of the TVs didn't work and a light panel continually fell of the wall). The main complaint though was my sons were given a double bed. We asked for 2 single beds instead which we were assured was no problem at all. We were then told that they couldn't do this due to the type of bed frame (it was 2 single frames). Finally, after 5 days, 2 guys came to the room and managed to change the bed in 2 minutes. I have no idea why it took so long. Other things 1. The animal park is great. The kids loved it. 2. Beaches are also great as are the snorkeling opportunities. Make sure you bring your goggles or snorkels. 3 Lots of swimming pools to choose from including one we found by the playground near the animal park that was not mentioned to us and no one else was there (although there was plenty of lounges). So a secret swimming pool? 4. We found the staff to be great. Special mentions go to our cleaner (who gave us extra sheets every day for our boys so they could at least have separate covers), the tennis coach who was very helpful and friendly and also to the guy who took great photos of the family and was also extremely friendly whenever he saw us around). 5. The Monte Turri restaurant is fabulous if you want a change from the buffet (although booking another restaurant can be painful due to a lack of organisation between different hotels in the complex) 6. The L'Oleandro restaurant is not open (and I suspect hasn't been opened for a long time). This should be stated on the web site. It means quite along walk from the Ville del Parco rooms to the buffet (which was La Terezza) 7. Buffet food could definitely be better. 8. The layout and style of the resort is great. The paint is peeling etc bit it just makes it seem authentic. 9. Our kids also absolutely loved the resident rabbits that can be spotted around the grounds. In summary, this place could be amazing, but it's not. The organisation needs vast improvement. I suspect there are post covid financial problem. It will be interesting to see what it's like in a couple of years. Overall though we really enjoyed our stay despite a few very frustrating moments.

It was the second time that we spent our family holidays at Arbatax Park Resort and it was great again. The resort is beautiful and offers a lot of possibilities. Food was good. Staff was very friendly (except for the superior staff from Telis reception who often didn‘t even great when met in the resort). We (and especially our kids) loved the Boboi bus and the drivers alway very nice to us and our kids. The only negative points: the public toilets at the pool and the restaurants often didn‘t meet our hygienic expectatives. Some of them also need a renovation (i.e. the onces close to the shops). Them drinks at the bar are rather pricey for Italy.

Great massage from all the Staff. Thank you Marco (Head of Spa & Massage) for the lovely Foot Massage. My wife & daughter had a superb whole body massage! And since we booked 10 days at the beautiful Cottage we enjoyed free Spa & cristal clear swimming pool with a great view!

One week full board holiday. Structure that requires major renovation as it is old and in decline. The glories in which he mastered are at least 20/25 years away. In 2023 the rooms (I'm talking about the villas in the park where we stayed) are at the limit of decency for a renowned 4-star resort. Noisy air conditioning that sounds like being inside a nuclear reactor. TV not working. Cobwebs in the corners between the ceiling and walls, plaster patches and paint on the walls and ceiling. Overall old in everything. Catering for 6, you can always find something but for a 4 star you expect dishes with greater personality, also by virtue of past experiences. All the staff are always kind and helpful, who with great commitment and dedication try to keep up a structure that is not up to par. The advertised photos are misleading, they do not reflect the current state of the Resort but that of 20 years ago.... or how they would like it to be!! Bar prices from Costa Smeralda. Place not suitable for disabled people or families with strollers. There are no ramps but only stairs, several stairs. Daily towel change is one of the most appreciated things about the holiday. Relaxing holiday but below expectations.
