There were so many little disappointments: the coffee machine at the beach bar not working one day, no milk to make cappuccinos at the other beach bar another day, no tomato sauce to make pizzas at the on-site pizzeria the next day. There was not a single socket in the conference room and reception area. This could be solved somehow, for example by organising an extension cord, but the promised technician never showed up. there was no internet and reception in our room. The staff locked the table tennis table in a storage room so we could not use it. When we asked why, they said they were closing for the winter, but the hotel was still open and we were guests there. The breakfast was the same for all ten days of our stay. There was a 15 minute queue for coffee every day. The on-site restaurants were overpriced. The children's entertainment was poorly prepared. My son said after an hour that it was boring and did not want to participate. Also, there were no other children who wanted to join the activities. When we asked about archery activities (which they advertised), the staff said 'not available'. In general, we felt that nobody at the hotel cared about the wellbeing of the guests. However, I must admit that the spa service (extra charge) was of a high standard and the cleaning of the rooms was impeccable. Also the beaches, the botanical garden, the scenic trail were absolutely wonderful.

We reserved 2 rooms for 4 days and have a handicap service dog. When we arrived we were met with great aggression by the dirty hotel manager, who openly discriminated against me, and refused our reservation stating that EVEN WITH A HANDICAP (and having presented all paperwork) WE WERE REFUSED AND HAD TO PAY IN FULL FOR OUR RESERVATION. They do not understand what a HANDICAP SERVICE DOG is and kept saying no dogs allowed over 5kg. I have never been more disgusted with a hotel in my life.

Beautiful rustic hotel, really peaceful with wonderful views & beaches. Only fault, be very careful when booking the airport transfer via the hotel - I was picked up ridiculously early, 5:00! There was no option to negotiate this time so ended up in the airport very, very early missing breakfast too :(

7th time to Sardinia and thankfully a stay here was not our first or we would have been totally put off returning to Sardinia ! We saw no less than 4 rats during our week long stay 1 climbing up the plants in front of us whilst eating dinner on the terrace, 1 on the roof of the room below us, 1 huge rat at La Vela and another running across the path on the morning we checked out . Lovely setting but hotel very tired and dirty in places. Pools too cold to swim in. Food very basic, repetitive and poorly displayed and a total bun fight. The hotel is obviously coming to the end of the season so resort in general and particularly the main bar area (other bar areas all closed) looks like its winding down and very few drinks on offer, no whisky for example ! London hotel prices. 13 euros for a gin and tonic in a disposable plastic cup. Told only plastic as next to the pool but others were given glasses, they just had too few to go around. Money wasn't the issue but the general surroundings and unclean undressed tables and poor evening ambience do not command the prices being charged. Nowhere for lunch at this part of the resort other than La Vela , pizza and A La Carte apparently (it is definitely not) Quite expensive about 45 Euros for 1 pizza a bowl of lettuce a small bowl of chips and 2 drinks. We shared 1 meal in essence. Lovely setting, very shabby (old tables and broken chairs) and hit and miss as to what is available from the very short menu or whether it is open at all. You could go to the other part of the resort on the bobo bus but it doesn't run between 12.30pm and 1.30pm at lunchtime so by the time you discover they are closed the bus has stopped running ! The rooms are clean, lovely white towels and linen and the bed comfortable but awful plastic waterproof mattress covers which rustle badly, cause overheating, don't fit and ruck up into huge creases. Air conditioning very old, far too noisy to use at night. Glass in windows is very precarious and should slide up and down but large sharp broken tops made it impossible to touch them. Room 205 does not have the expected balcony, just a Juliette railing to stop you falling from the French doors !!. The only entertainment is in the bar but ok, duo singing and guitar. Aperitivo plate was included in our package but cannot be had at lunchtime, only from 7.15pm when dinner starts at 7.30pm. Just generally unhelpful here and no customer service to speak of. This resort looks charming in the photographs but the reality is very different. Several of our issues were relayed to reception staff but met with lots of shrugs and no action. I requested a meeting with the manager but they were unavailable and never got back to me in spite of a request to do so. This review and others negative comments on this site are unfortunately fair and honest. The rustic setting is irrelevant and the standards of hygiene, cleanliness, rodent control and customer service here fall way below other similar resor

The resort is very relaxing and the staff are very helpful. Buffet restaurants offers a good variety and menu change. The beds are very comfortable, bathrooms well equipped. Air con unit and ceiling fan very effective but noisy. No WiFi in room, no tea/coffee making facilities, no USB sockets. Only one chair in our room. Maid service very good. The landscaping is stunning, the pools good and clean but cold.

I rarely write reviews, but I'll have to share my experience at Borgo Cala Moresca. My family (two adults + two kids) booked a week at Borgo Cala Moresca with a connecting room + half-board. The first evening we had dinner in the restaurant (included in half-board). We sat on the patio with a nice view of the pool and sea. Several guests noticed something crawling on the roof truss right above our table. We noticed movement, but couldn't quite tell what it was. A few minutes later, we got up from our table and noticed it was a large rat. We were shocked and disgusted. At least one of the waiters looked directly at it, but took no action. My guess is that it's not the first time this happened. The following morning we went to the reception as we decided to check out and cut our stay short. We simply couldn't eat at a restaurant with live rats running around. We asked for full or partial refund, but the hotel would not give us that.

We were impressed by location as we had got in a fairy country with the buildings built into the rocks and surrounded by blooming trees and bushes. The rooms were spacious and clean with interior was in Sardinian style. It was so nice to have warming gift: honey, olive oil and cookies. First day's dinner was very good. Our children were delighted with BOBOI and animals. Next days we started to notice inconveniences: 1. There is no place and facilities to dry swimsuits end towels after swimming 2. Only water, wine and beer are offered for dinner. What should children drink?. Tea, juice would be great!! 3. Breakfasts are very monotonous. All time the same menu. 4. Beach is not comfortable for children 4. Sometimes non-fresh dishes were offered for dinner

Amazing stay at the resort. Plenty to do and lots of friendly staff, beaches, pools and restaurants. The buffet options were great, catering for all types of diet and the barista in the morning makes a huge difference! The coffee was great! Shame about the La Vela restaurant staff... but otherwise everything was excellent
