We stayed at the hotel for a week in December, and it was the perfect family location, offering ski-in and ski-out convenience. The swimming pool and sauna were an extra bonus after a whole day on the slope. The staff was absolutely amazing, going the extra mile to find us a better room with a perfect mountain view. We will definitely be back! Thank you.

Great self catering hotel. Stayed in a 2 bed Mountain View apartment which was lovely. Could ski and out or get the bus and lift into centre. Can order pastries for breakfast for next day. Ski passes required for ski and out which can work out expensive if only using beginner slopes. Restaurant lovely, ski hire shop on site very convenient. Town easy to navigate after a couple of days. Perfect for beginners. plenty of blue runs which are on the more difficult ens of the spectrum. we had great conditions over new year but was very busy

We went in Feb 2022 but can’t select that date The apartment was nice , ski in and out is easy, ski hire shop and spa are all in the same building and pool is excellent which makes things easy , we have stayed at the sister apartments close by but these are better and worth the extra money . I don’t think they are big enough for four people .. Flaine is a good ski resort for beginners and intermediates

Fantastic stay in a one bedroom apartment with my 7 yr old grandson. Swimming pool was a great bonus. No complaints. Would definitely return with all the family next time. Easy access to ski slopes and/or ski bus. Spar shop, Ski school, Ski hire shop and great restaurant are all on on site but other shops, supermarkets, bakeries etc are all in easy walking distance.

Just got back from a fabulous stay in Flaine! We were very lucky to have two flurries of snow whilst we were here, which meant skiing conditions were superb! The hotel itself was clean and well kept. We particularly liked the lounge area where we met other families for ‘games nights’ and a chat in front of a beautiful fire! All the staff were very helpful and answered any questions we had! You can order bakery goods from reception the day before to collect each morning each morning. We were told that next season this will all be done online. The room was great. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment with lounge and kitchen. You get an en-suite shower room as well as bathroom with separate toilet. Our room was 012, and had a balcony that overlooked the courtyard, Flaine and the mountains. Waking up to views of the mountains each morning was amazing, and lunch on the sunny balcony was beautiful! Definitely recommend a room this side of the hotel. The facilities were great too! The swimming pool was clean and well kept, located on -1 floor. The outdoor hot tub was lovely and steam room and sauna was great too. There is a spa on site, but we didn’t use. There is a Spar shop on site, which is quite expensive, so my advise would be to stop at the supermarket on the way to the resort or to take a trip to the Sherpa in Flaine Forum. There is also a lovely restaurant on site too, who couldn’t have made us more welcome! We had fondue with charcuterie and pizza for the kids, with the latter available to order to takeaway back to your room. Ignore the negative reviews. The resort is expensive (as is most ski resorts!), so expect higher prices than in the UK. You are allocated a heated ski locker to keep your gear on -2 floor, which leads you to the courtyard for ski in/ski out. Prior to booking, we read a few negative reviews about this, which we feel were unjust and unfair on the hotel. The snowplough prepares a run of snow for ski in/ski out from the courtyard, and when there has been flurries of snow, this is a great green run behind Eos (sister hotel) down to the Gerats chair lift. However, the first couple of days we were there, there wasn’t enough snow on the Green run, and although the do their best, it is out of control of the hotel. However, a 10metre walk up the ‘ski in’ slope under the arch takes you to another green run at the front of the hotel so that you can ski out. All in all, not too much of a hardship! It takes about 10 mins to ski into the main ski area of Flaine. With a button lift and the Gerats chair lift taking you back to the hotel. Just a heads up, we got caught out one day with the button lift closing due to lack of snow on the lift, but we’re happy to get the free bus shuttle back to the hotel. Free bus shuttles run every 15 mins during peak season. Whilst we were there , they ran every 30 mins. The ski school we booked is located in the courtyard, which was perfect for drop off and collection. It was our kids first ski holi

We had a fantastic stay in les Terrasses d' Helios. The apartment on the 4th floor had amazing views of the valley and the mountains of Flaine. The apartment was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. All the staff there were so friendly and helpful.Nothing was too much trouble for them. We were fortunate to have great snow and conditions and the ski in and out is so easy from the residence . The pool ,sauna . steam room and outdoor hot tub were spotlessly clean and very welcome after a day on the slopes! There is is a very convenient Spar shop below the Residence but it is expensive. We enjoyed the fresh bread delivery service from the residence each morning. We have stayed in the Eos several times and tried the Helios this year for a change. Both residences are first class and offer a very enjoyable stay. We would highly recommend a holiday in Flaine. Thank you to all. Merci a vous. The Cox family.

The apartment is great. Lots of space, with great views. Spar underneath is very handy. I’d pick helios over eos purely for having an on-site supermarket. Ski in - ski out. Only exists when they want to run a drag lift. Which was closed for 4/6 days we were here. They can’t advertise this as ski in and ski out when it’s based on the ‘grand massif’ operating a run that they decide isn’t important to open to “save costs” The company need to do more to ensure that drag lift is open 100% of the time. Ruined the trip for the beginner skiers, forcing them to be sardines on a bus journey.

Lovely stay Jan 2022, real treat, big rooms, very modern and comfy, large tvs with British channels, fully equipped kitchen. You can borrow a dvd player too. Views better at front over valley, but rear still nice. Staff very helpful and friendly, painless check in/out. Spa area lovely, big enough, clean, not too busy 6 till 7pm i found. Bathrobes provided and slippers in room. Local Spar ground level next door, fine for a week, bit more pricy than town one but ok, open till 7pm. Local buses free run often from main road 3 min walk into town evs till 7pm, easy, if need bigger shops and bars etc. No bar at Helios only downside but not an issue. Local cafe does basic snacks and food, coffee etc, seemed popular. Overall lovely place, Flaine is a fantastic ski area, ski in/out easy, well worth a stay, for a bit of lux for a change ! (perfect for a family with young kids as ski school next door) I will def return !

I wouldn't recommend staying here. They add charges to your credit card without explanation and then don't answer phones or emails when you try to enquire about those charges. As far as I'm concerned this company are thieves.
