Absolutely stunning! Beautiful golf course. Awesome views. Both the pool view and golf course views were beautiful. Spacious room. Neat and clean. Delicious breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. Lovely warm fire at reception. Beautiful gardens with manicured lawns. Great view from balcony.

We spent a wonderful family weekend at the Arabella in Kleinmond. The service was warm and friendly from the moment we pulled up. Every request we had was met, and our suite exceeded our expectations. The meals were consistently delicious in all venues and very well priced. Special mention to dinner in the restaurant, the service was fantastic and the live music was a bonus. The pool was amazing and our daughter had a great time swimming all weekend. The Spa was calming and a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. This hotel will continue to be one of our favorites.

We were staying with friends on the estate. Firstly, the golf course is fab but too many people. At one stage there were four groups on one hole. In the evening we went to the bar for pre dinner drinks. The two employees did their best but not enough staff for customers and we waited 30 minutes for our bottle of wine. By the time the ice bucket came we had drunk the whole bottle. Then we went into dinner. Speedier service. There were four of us. Two happy with meal I was not. The onion soup bore no relation to an onion soup. Thick soup, no apparent onion with a slice of burned toast stuck on top with a few bits of melted cheese and I think a bit of onion but not sure. My main course was a chicken penne pasta. I'm not sure if I have ever had anything so bland. There was enough to feed 3 of us but it was truly awful. I didn't say anything at the time as I didn't want to embarass our friends. Very disappointing meal.

We recently stayed at Arabella Hotel and Spa, and as always, we had a lovely time. The serene atmosphere, excellent service, and luxurious never fail to impress. It’s a place we return to often, as we’re so used to everything being five stars and beyond. However, during this visit, we were a bit disappointed with the condition of the swimming pool. While enjoying a swim, I noticed a buildup of what seemed to be fungus on the bottom of the pool. This was quite unexpected and not in line with the high standards Arabella usually upholds. That said, the rest of our stay was wonderful, and we hope the pool issue is addressed soon to ensure future visits maintain the impeccable experience we’ve come to expect from this exceptional establishment. REALIZING HOW VERY BUSY YOU ARE BUT -- so many issues disappointed us Not reception which excellent but thereafter so many issues indicate to us that Arabella was NOT a 5 star hotel -from the cigarette butts outside on our balcony to the almost impossibility of getting ice!! First night took 3 phone calls and 2 hours and second night another 3 phone calls and 2 hours! might i suggest an ice machine on every floor?!?! The most worrying issue was the fact fact that our door would not close properly because the door was fractured - who knows how! One had to really bash it hard to get it to close. My new bride was very saddened and disappointed that what i promised her did not not meet up with her expectations!!. I have been to the hotel in the past and was own away at all aspects - but the golf course was as great as ever!!

Best restaurant, sjef Phil excellent and best waiter Shannon! Nice setting, good dinner with Pinot Noir wine. Cozy setting, good views and background live music. Excellent setting for a dinner with good views. Recommend for any memorable occasion.

Had a really nice 6 nights here as part of our 2 week SA trip. We played golf 6 times and the clubhouse were great at shifting our times so we could play as a twoball (rather than being paired up). It was quiet as winter so plenty of options. Spa is nice and outdoor pool area is good but it was not quite warm enough to be outside by it (or in it as it was freezing). Thanks to all the kind staff at the Halfway/Clubhouse, and to Johannes and the caddy team. The golf course is utterly stunning. We didnt go out much and just ate in the hotel. Really enjoyed it.

Great experience all round. Spectacular setting, efficient and welcoming staff. One of the best spa experiences with thermal pools, massages, sauna and steam room. A must stay for golf tourists. Good food with breakfast buffet outstanding. Shout out to the GM, Mike Phillipson (sp. I think?) for always being around and keeping an eye on things. A great example of how to do it.
