Our Habitas Ras Abrouq

I had a few issues with my stay. I requested a car to take me from my room to the reception, but I had to walk after waiting for a while. Also, the hot water in the tap didn’t work properly.

From the moment we arrived at Our Habitas Ras Abrouq, we didn’t just feel like guests we felt like family. George, Eric, Ahmed, Chef Vicente, and all their sweet, welcoming colleagues opened their hearts and truly made us feel at home in their home. It’s rare to find such warmth and authenticity, and it stayed with us every moment of our stay. Our experience began with a breathtaking desert safari, winding through the golden silence of the dunes until we found ourselves face to face with the awe-inspiring Richard Serra sculptures, bold, timeless, and humbling. We even spotted a real Qatari oryx in its natural habitat, something that felt almost mythical. As the sun melted into the horizon, painting the desert in hues no camera could capture, we knew we were in a place unlike any other. Back at the resort, Chef Vicente worked his magic every meal was a celebration. Fresh, inventive, and soul-satisfying. Whether we were savoring quiet dinners or sharing laughs with new friends, the food brought everyone together in the most beautiful way. And then… a dama dama deer decided to drop by. Yep, a wild deer just strolling through like a graceful reminder of how special this place is. You don’t plan for moments like that they just happen when you’re somewhere extraordinary. Waking up in the Al Maha Villa was its own kind of dream. The ocean stretched out before us, just beyond our own little plunge pool. Every detail in the villa, from the plush bed to the curated amenities, made it clear that this place wasn’t just about luxury it was about peace, connection, and living fully. If you’re looking for something real, grounding, and unforgettable, Our Habitas Ras Abrouq is more than just a destination it’s a feeling. And we’re already dreaming about coming back to our home away from home.

Thank you to chef Vicente, and his team for the excellent service at restaurant Qissa. We visited for my birthday and the location was a surprise until we arrived (it did not feel like we were in Qatar at all). It was truly a spectacular experience, from the friendly staff (our server was Gabriel and was knowledgeable about item choices), as well as the food - I consider myself a “foodie” and honestly NEVER tasted such fresh, clean flavours before. We will definitely be back for our anniversary!
