Worst experience ever, cleanliness is bad, food is not good, people and staff aren't helpful, and at the end they didn't want me to meet the manager. Or help me out and even the valet let my car battery die at night!! I couldn't say how bad it was and how unhappu the experience was for us

This is by far one of the worst hotels in the world. We had a confirmed booking through Agoda and had already paid in full with our Visa card. However, when we arrived, the hotel staff told us that we had no reservation under our name. Nobody offered us any help, and we were completely ignored. We were left waiting in the reception area from 12:00 noon until 9:00 at night without any support or solution. This is beyond unprofessional – it is humiliating and outrageous. The level of disrespect, lack of hospitality, and zero accountability make this hotel a disgrace. I absolutely do not recommend anyone to visit this hotel ever. Avoid it at all costs.

I had a very bad experience at Grand Tala Bay. I booked and prepaid two rooms through Agoda, but the hotel claimed they had no reservation. The reception staff refused to help or contact Agoda, and I waited more than 8 hours without any support or even basic hospitality. Agoda tried several times to confirm the booking, but the hotel kept raising the room prices. In the end, I had to leave and return to Amman. Very unprofessional service and I do not recommend this hotel. I booked two rooms for two nights each through Agoda, fully prepaid in advance. To my surprise, upon arrival at the hotel, I was informed that no reservation was found under my name. Despite showing proof of payment, the reception staff refused to assist me in contacting Agoda for clarification. Instead, they insisted that I handle the issue on my own. I spent more than two hours making international calls to Agoda, while waiting at the reception for over six hours, yet the hotel staff made no attempt to reach out to the company to help resolve the matter. Agoda repeatedly tried to secure rooms for us, but each time they contacted the hotel, the rates were suddenly increased. At one point, the cost of two standard rooms reached more than 1,040 JOD—over five times the original prepaid amount. Agoda could not cover this unreasonable difference, and the hotel refused to allow a booking with later payment, insisting instead on full payment upfront. After waiting more than eight hours at the reception of Grand Tala Bay, without any support, courtesy, or even being offered water or juice, we had no choice but to leave the hotel and return to Amman. This was a very disappointing and unprofessional experience. Since the hotel has an agreement with Agoda, it should have been their responsibility to coordinate directly with the company, not the guest. At the very least, issues between the hotel and Agoda should be handled by them, not by visitors who have already paid. Otherwise, the hotel should not appear as an option on Agoda’s platform.
