The Bedouin Garden Village is about 15 minutes by car below Aqaba, very close to the Berenice Beach Club. It is only 150 meters to the sea and the beach. In the immediate vicinity you will find a few other guesthouses with restaurants as well as a restaurant/snack bar on the beach. The beach itself also has free parasols.
The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere in the Garden Village is very quiet and relaxed. The ambience offers many shady spots that invite you to linger and relax in the shade, but some of the cushions in the Bedouin seating areas could do with washing or cleaning. It wasn't dirty, but it wasn't 100% clean either.
The Bedouin Garden Village has a diving school with friendly, funny but also competent staff and good equipment. The dives were very relaxed and yet interesting, even for experienced divers.
Unfortunately, breakfast was relatively simple: there was flatbread, cream cheese wedges (although these were left in the heat for a long time), jam and a plate of hummus, egg, beans, some fruit and some vegetables. It was still filling. Unfortunately, the lunch and dinner menu is not particularly extensive either: there is a lot of frozen food (fish, hamburgers, calamari), a few salads and a few chicken dishes. It fills you up, it doesn't taste bad, but it's not particularly "wow" either - given the remote location, the choice of restaurants on site is limited.
The rooms were simple but functional with air conditioning and a refrigerator.
All in all, a great place to stay to unwind for a few days in a quiet environment.
