L'Aptois Hôtel

We stayed in L'Aptois in July for one night. We chose one room with shared bathroom. In fact we had a small cabinet with a washbasin and a bidet inside the room, closed by a curtain. The room was very small with only a small table. No air conditioning. There was an old TV with two remote controllers, only one of them with batteries, so we had to turn the TV on with one of the remotes, change the batteries, pick up the channel and change back the batteries when we wanted to shut it down. There is no reception open at night. The shared bathroom was always empty but there were strict showering times until 9 pm, so if you wanted to have a shower before bed this was not possible. It was clean though. There is a lot of free parking space in the area. The staff was very friendly, specially the woman that checked us out. We didn't try the breakfast (8 €) as we had something to eat in the Saturday market (really worth visiting). Location is excellent. All in all, this is a cheap option while in Apt, but quite poor in my opinion.

We stayed here for a few nights on our cycling trip. It is not much to look at but the decor inside was actually great and the rooms are a decent size too. They were very cycle friendly, with a little locked courtyard for the bikes. Breakfast a little basic. The lady proprietor is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is ideally situated right near the good restaurants and town yet easy to get onto the wonderful bike routes nearby. I thought that for the price it was great value
