We came hungry, because reviews had mentioned the wonderful food! We were not disappointed in the least. We had a lovely, private dinner in the beautiful garden. It was calm and serene - a great place to rejuvenate after a long drive. It is walking distance from the town center - we didn't have enough time there. (Guess we'll have to go back!) The breakfast was great, too. The room was beautiful - although there was no a/c. It was a particularly warm day, but there was a fan provided (and a window overlooking the garden) and we were not the least bit uncomfortable. Each room was tastefully decorated and unique. The house itself was fabulously interesting with pictures and items that had been collected by the owners and the people who had previously owned the place. Such diversity! We could have spent many more hours here exploring the little town, finding all the hidden treasures in the house, and chatting with the owners who were wonderful about sharing their wealth of local information and their experiences. This is a special place.

We stayed here as a group of 6 the night before our riverboat holiday from Migennes and wished we could have stayed longer. A gorgeously renovated property with very comfortable and individually styled rooms. Janik was a fantastic host and made us feel very comfortable and made us a lovely breakfast with home produce. Would be a great base to visit the vineyards for Burgundy.

We stopped on our way to Italy at the well of Athie and it was an extremely pleasant moment. An old convent magnificently restored by its owners who welcome their guests in the most pleasant way. The table d'hôtes is excellent and the place is both calm and comfortable. No doubt for us, if we have to stop in this sector again, it will be there without a doubt!
