Grand TheoNi Boutique Hotel & Spa

This hotel is very well located right in the centre of town so if you want to walk out of the front door with all the shops/restaurants and bars on your doorstep then this is the place for you. It is modern and our room had up to date shower and toilet/ fittings etc - all very nice. Good air conditioning, decent sized balcony with chairs and table - nice to sit there in the early evening sunshine. Staff very helpful. Beach towels available at reception. Car parking available in designated compound 2 mins walk away. Can’t comment on the meals as we were accommodation only. The only possible negative was the pool which is very small with no area for sunbeds - just a few chairs but at least there is a pool ! I would say this hotel is certainly one of the better ones available in Vasiliki and would stay here again in the future.

Hotel is well placed on the main tiny shopping street of cute Vassiliki. This is a great advantage, however also a disadvantage, as room was incredibly noisy till late in the night. Hotel itself was noisy and every door closing was highly echoing. Room was clean and tidy, even thought the towels were not changed every day and some days were forgotten completely. Clima was barely functioning which made the nights very hot and difficult to sleep. The pool was not tempting at all, very small and not appealing. The breakfast was offered in the pool area, however in a small room and served on the terrace. What was offered was very poor and quite anaesthetically presented. All in all our stay was pleasant and the staff very helpful and friendly, however definitely this hotel is not a 4 stars one. 2 maybe 3 stars would be sufficient.

The room was small, overpriced but clean. The refrigerator was noisy, the hotel manager couldn't fix it. There were problems with the TV set and that was fixed immediately. The breakfast was simple but ok. The reception staff friendly young people. We had to stay

We had a wonderful time. We hired a car directly from the airport and car hire is a great recommendation. You can hire cars at the hotel too. The location is perfect if you want to stay in a nice quiet town with options to go places. It is a nice family run business. The staff are very friendly nothing is too much bother. If you want good tips about the island and places to visit, George is your man. They have a sister holiday grand Nefelli which is 2 mins from the beach and you can make use of their facilities. I love the fact that the hotel is so central. Each room has a balcony and there are places at the front and rear to sit out in the open too.

Not worth it. Extremely overpriced for what it offers. Dirty shower and extremely small room. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. Do a favour to yourself and book somewhere else. Absolutely not worth it!

If you go to this hotel be aware to clarify EVERYTHING price wise in advance. My experience and I see from other reviews I'm not alone is the owner tries to rip of his customers where ever he can. Don't book direct with the hotel, check out prices on other sites before you do, normally booking directly with an hotel the prices can be very keen, not in this instance. We went as a group and used the hotel minibus for trips, but rather than charging a fixed amount he charged each of us separately and an extortionate amount. As well as over charging for the rooms as per other sites and then tried to charge extra for breakfast! On the plus side, the rooms were nice and clean although a good sea view they aren't, more a glimpse in the distance. Breakfast was nice but not special. The staff; George and Raphaella and another girl at reception were all lovely and very helpful and kind but the experience was definitely marred by the last day where we spent most of it trying to sort out the convoluted overcharging of the bill and waiting around for the owner to handle the situation. He did take the breakfasts off and money off the taxi but not enough and kept trying to convince us that a taxis would cost more but on shopping around this turned out to be untrue. (originally he was trying to charge nearly 1000 euros for the bus) I would definitely not go back as I don't support businesses that treat their customers this way.
