On arrival the staff were very welcoming, check in was easy enough and the hotel is spotlessly clean everywhere. Room was lovely, nice view of the sea and had a fridge, iron, hairdryer, kettle and a tv with a few English channels on. The food here is wonderful and so much choice everyday. The beach is probably 300m walk and has sunbeds to lay on, no charge. Lovely beach and clean. My reason for only three stars for what is a lovely hotel is that for one our towels were not changed once during our stay. Also the drinks we had on arrival were disgusting and expensive so we paid over the odds for something that we didn’t enjoy. There is a shop here but it’s so expensive so my advice is to visit the supermarket over the road which is literally half the price and you’ll get more for your money there. We bought drinks and snacks etc there and just sat on the balcony and had them in the evening after dinner. Never had a drink with dinner due to the fact they tasted so bad and also they leave bottles of beer unopened and left to go flat right next to the waste food bin at dinner. I wouldn’t visit again but apart from the negatives it’s not a bad hotel at all.

We stayed at Vantaris Palace in October-November 2023. Two adults and two teenage kids. Location: The hotel is located on the beach and has a dedicated piece of it too. Easy drive from Chania airport (about 45 min). The hotel is on the outskirts of the village and the nearest supermarket (quite decent) is just in a 3 min walking distance. The hotel grounds are very green and well looked after. There are lots of pretty palm trees there. Car park: The car park is large and there is also plenty of parking on the nearby lane. Reception/Main hall: The main hall has lots of sofas and armchairs and coffee tables. There is also an adjacent bar there and a jewellery shop. Rooms: The rooms are very clean and have all necessary facilities, such as a mini-fridge, a kettle, a safe box (at extra 2 EUR per day), a TV set, an Air Conditioner, all shower accessories (shampoo, shower gels, soap bars...). The balcony door has a sliding anti-mosquito net which can help a lot (there were not many mosquitos during out stay there anyway.) One small and one large towel per person get changed daily. A pair of soft slippers per guest is provided too. You also get a large good quality beach/pool towel per person which can get exchanged twice a day if desired. Swimming pools: There is a selection of swimming pools of various sizes for adults and kids. The pools are open between 10:00 - 18:00 and there are plenty of free sun loungers and parasols around the pools. A lifeguard is present there too, so the kids can be left unsupervised if necessary. Restaurant/Food: There are plenty of tables of various sizes both indoors and outdoors by the swimming pool. The food variety and quality is great and is probably better than in the village tavernas. On Wednesdays they do Greek nights with traditional barbeques (souvlaki, gyros, etc..) in addition to the usual selection. Entertainment / Games rooms / Sports facilities: During our stay there were visiting musicians, dancers and other entertainers in the evenings. On the Greek night there was a traditional Greek band and dancers. Not too loud or noisy, so you can relax quietly in your room or in other areas if you want to avoid the evening music. There is a tennis court, an outdoor table tennis as well as an indoor games room. Spa/Massage: (We have not used these so cannot comment). Beach bar / Taverna: There is a dedicated taverna + beech bar - it offers a good choice of meals for lunch and they serve great Greek coffee! The food and drinks can be charged to the room. Beach: The beach is mostly sandy with occasional small pebble patches. There are sun loungers and parasols (3 EUR rent per bed per day and can be charged to the room, so there is no need to carry cash to the beach). There are fresh water showers too. Staff: Very nice, friendly and helpful staff everywhere! Overall impresson: Excellent, all of us liked it very much and we are likely to go to this place again.

It's a very decent all-inclusive hotel in Crete with primarily European clientele (August 2023). Advantages: - Very good location and access from both Chania and Heraklion airport. - An excellent sandy beach with easy and gradual access to sea and morning walks. Warm sea temperatures (compared to some other locations around Chania we tested). - Great restaurant/service with a variety of food options. Live performances / music in the evening. Some disadvantages: - Somewhat limited territory with relatively small swimming pools. So much so that the restaurant terrace is directly adjacent to the main pool, which is not a problem by itself, but feels a bit crowded.

Kids friendly resort. Bang on the beach , best for family with kids. It has kids activities too and kids care so that you get some couple time to enjoy. Awesome food and great ambience. Every night it has some events after dinner. Great pool and staff.

Despite our overall positive experience at this 4-star Greek hotel during our family holiday last week, an unfortunate incident left us feeling upset and disappointed. This was our second visit to the hotel, as my parents had previously enjoyed their stay there and invited us to join them this time. However, on the second day of our holiday, we discovered that my father's wallet, containing a significant amount of money, had been stolen from our room while we were present. The incident was deeply shocking, especially considering that it happened within the confines of the hotel. To make matters worse, when we reported the theft to the front office, it seemed as though they didn't believe us initially. We had to return the following day to confirm the disappearance of the wallet and establish that only the maid had access to our room. Although they eventually read the lock, we were never informed about the outcome, and the management never reached out to offer any support or reassurance. Despite the unfortunate circumstances, we must commend the fantastic restaurant team who went above and beyond to help us during this difficult time. They were truly great people and wonderful hosts, going out of their way to ensure our dining experiences were enjoyable. Their hospitality made a positive impact, and we appreciated their efforts in light of the challenging situation. It is regrettable that the incident marred our overall impression of the hotel. We hope that the management takes the necessary measures to address such incidents promptly and ensure the safety and well-being of their guests. Despite this setback, we managed to find some solace in the remarkable service provided by the restaurant team. We sincerely hope that future guests have a more positive and trouble-free experience at the hotel

A fantastic Hotel with a great staff. A lovely two weeks in a lovely setting near a lovely beach. Reception was very efficient on check in and during our stay. Room was lovely with a great shower and spacious. Room was cleaned everyday by friendly staff. The dining was excellent with loads of options both at breakfast and dinner, again very friendly staff. The only thing was some days the food wasn't as hot as you would expect. The pool was lovely with loads of sunbeds and a very relaxed vibe with a lifeguard on duty. The beach is probably a two hundred metre walk and is very safe with sun loungers available for rent there is also a lifeguard on duty. The area is a bit remote but lads of walking options. A.l in all a very enjoyable stay

An amazing hotel clean, great facilities wonderful staff could not do enough for you. The only improvement for me personally would be to have more entertainment during the day more activities around the pool and on the beach. If you want relaxation though it's ideal.
