Casita Azul offers a queen size bed, apartment sized kitchen and bathroom with shower. You have full use of the property which includes a private dock, a beach with lounge chairs & hammocks, complimentary use of kayaks when available and a common area at the dive shop. A divers paradise, you are steps to the dive shop and boat and if you have non divers in the group they can relax on the beach in lounge chairs, hammocks or enjoy snorkeling from our pier. Do you have more than 2 in your party? We also have 3 other units available. Check In begins at 3pm and Check Out is by 11am. Early check in may be available. This is your home away from home and the entire property is for your use.Please note this is a diving operation and the filling of scuba tanks is limited between the hours of 8am and 9pm. Most generally this process is completed between 2pm and 5pm. However night dives do require the need to fill tanks at 8 am.We live on property particular times of the year in the upstairs unit and will be available to assist when needed. Our customer relations staff is available for any assistance when we are not on site. Blue Island Divers is open Monday-Saturday, 7:30am-5:00pm. Sunday's you will have the beach and premises for your use; however, the diving and bar and restaurant are closed. From 6pm until 6:30am we have a night watchman on property and on Sundays a watchman is on property 24 hours.We are located 10 minutes from Coxen hole and 10 minutes to West End in the quiet neighborhood of Sandy Bay. We are steps from the principal road which traverses the entire island. You can walk the beach for approximately a 1/2 mile in each direction and enjoy the tranquil breeze and beautiful mangroves or sand beach.We have ample parking available if you rent a car and if not you're steps from being able to grab a taxi cab at the main road. We have specific taxi drivers available for tours when their schedule allows. Otherwise we recommend grabbing a cab at the road.Electricity is included with A/C usage limited to the time spent inside the unit. We request the units are shut off when not indoors. This Island is wonderful oasis and there is no need to live in a gated community. The Islanders are wonderful and helpful.The pool has a large deck and beautiful jungle setting. Go snorkelling off our dock with the snorkelling equipment that comes with the rental, to one of the most stunning reef formations in the Caribbean. (second largest reef in the world). You can sit on the dock and enjoy the dolphins and their shows every day. We suggest snorkelling with the dolphins!New pool! The use of two single kayaks and one double along with a paddle board come with the property for our guests to use. Also we have a good selection of snorkelling gear for all ages.There is a great spa a minute down the beach. This a one acre private property with Casa Cowee VRBO 126086 as the main house and Temple Tree House VRBO 503528 high off the beach which is used for local access to the properties on it. The houses are designed to catch the breezes off the water and the casita never heats up. Sunsets are absolutely the most stunning from our home. This is a one acre estate which is lush with many fruit trees including lemons, limes, mangos, bananas, avocados, guanaba, jack fruit, nuts etc.The property is gated with a private circular drive around a massive Mango Tree and in the back there is a towering Rain Forest LeCeiba Tree that takes your breath away. Just one to two minutes walk to 3 great restaurants and two fun bars. 10 Min. drive to West End which is filled with restaurants and bars. Or you can have our staff bring you local food which is delicious. There is a produce truck that comes by if you wish. We have someone you can hire to pick you up at the airport, stop for groceries and can arrange a boat for fishing and snorkelling tours and do all island tours. A nice point also is the proximity of a very good clinic at Anthony's Key about a 3 min walk away and they also have a recompression chamber there. Great doctors and service if needed and not expensive in our terms at least.
