Just 15/20 mins drive from the New Forest, Beaulieu, Christchurch and only 35mins from Bournemouth with its long golden beautiful sandy beach. Beaufort house is an extremely spacious, beautiful, stylish apartment on 2 floors with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Bursting with character in the heart of the historic town of Lymington within the New Forest National Park.The space:Beaufort House is full of charming character with high ceilings and wooden beams, The apartment is very light and airy, with a sun trap terrace to sit out on and enjoy a coffee and some down time.We are situated on the high street above Caldwells estate agents. So right in the heart of it all.My Father purchased the property in February 2018, and together we have re-designed and refurbished with beautiful furniture, fabrics and accessories.There are two bedrooms on the second floor, one with a kingsize bed and en-suite. This room has a beautiful navy velvet headboard with a large blanket box in the same fabric, a large wardrobe and plenty of drawers to store your belongings during your stay.The second bedroom, is a cosy double, there is a gorgeous orange flower print headboard, we have gone bright in this room as it is a small space so we wanted it to be bright but cosy too. There is a wooden open hanging unit to hang clothes, also there are two drawers in the bed base if more storage is required.The lounge is a bright room with it's beautiful ornate coving , and blue Farrow and Ball walls to make the furniture and art stand out. The paintings have been shipped over from South Africa so that it has a bit of a SA feel too.There is a downstairs bathroom with a bath, mirror with light sensor switch to the sideFully equipped kitchen, Nespresso coffee machine,Japanese kitchen knives, very sharp so please be careful! .Kitchen leads onto a beautiful sunny terrace garden with a gas webber BBQ.Parking is available via 2 car parks within easy walking distance to the apartment. We provide a complimentary 24-hour New Forest District parking clock which allows free parking at most New Forest District car parks ( details on back of clock).Guest access:Our front door is on the High Street, we share this with Caldwells, straight ahead of you is another Georgian glazed door, that is to the apartment. The Brick Barn combines traditional materials with modern comforts for a cosy and stylish break in the heart of the New Forest. The sense of space has been retained by keeping the ground floor living area to its full height with a mezzanine landing and exposed rafters. This reflects how the barn used to be with a partial floor to store the grains for milling below. The mill wheel is still on the side of the barn and this was driven by a steam engine back in the day. As was traditional in these barns, the downstairs has a soft brick floor and upstairs is laid with recycled oak floor boards from a 180 year old Amish barn, both with underfloor heating.
