MMC LoudThe Staybridge Suites are a little jewel in Birmingham. From check-in to check-out, staff were really friendly and professional.
The choice at the buffet breakfast was substantial and options for all tastes.
Really comfy mattress and spotless bed linen.
There was a problem with the fan in my room on the first night, and when I reported it to reception the next day, to resolve the issue, I was offered a different room for my second night. Instead, I just kept the card out of the light switch when I was ready to go to sleep. As I only had one more night I did not take up the offer of the change of room but I really appreciated that they would have done this for me which shows that they really want to make customers happy.
Having a fridge and kitchen items was really good.
The only downside was that the shower did not drain away quickly, so if you keep an eye on this when you are in the shower, you could end up with water all over the bathroom floor.
Otherwise, I would definitely stay there again.
GGuest UserMe and my husband had a week stay, good location near city centre just few minutes walk to the Bullring and city centre. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is clean and with a handy kitchen , the house keeping doing a good job . A special thanks to Linda, she is extremely helpful to help us to extend to another week stays. I highly recommend this hotel and will come back again
GGuest UserGreat customer service. Living space was clean, and spacious. No issues getting in and out of the building, which was secure at all times. The hotel is also located in the city centre, so food options were plentiful.
GGuest Userthe room is good enough for 3 persons, though the sofa beds are actually smaller than the photos. well equipped with 2 head cooking hobs, small fridge, dish washer, microwave with grill function and sufficient utensils, and also instant coffee were provided.
the water pressure of the shower is super good and water is hot enough but the toilet is a bit small, you have to hide just next to the toilet bowl then you have enough space to open the door.
The down side is the service of the reception & housekeeping team. After we got the room cards, we couldn't access to the room and needed to go down to ask the receptionist to fix the cards and come back to open the room. After entered the room, we found that the water in toilet sink didn't go, we asked the housekeeping staff who was just working at the next room to have a look at it but who said we needed to go to the receptionist (as there's no inter-room telephone, we have to go down again). Then the receptionist arranged another room which was downstairs for us.
We booked for 2 nights, when we came back to the hotel the next evening, the room cards didn't work, again. The receptionist claimed that it might be due to the cards being put together with the mobile phone that might damage the cards. However, we were sure the cards weren't put together with the phones!
It would be perfect if a small box of tissue could be provided.

Very Good
RRelaxing WingThe sister hotel of the Edgbaston Park Hotel, we stayed at Lucas House one of our nights as we were unable to book consecutively.
We stayed in a room with two single beds. The bed was too small. It was hard to imagine how a tall person could sleep...
The bathtub was also small. In addition, if the transparent waterproof door on the bathtub is pushed and pulled until it is flush, it will be difficult to open it from the inside. Fortunately, I have a partner who stays with me, otherwise I would be trapped in the bathtub if I was alone.
Apart from the above two items, everything else is excellent. There is a small green fence outside the window and a small flower bed outside the hotel. From a distance, it looks like being in a fairy tale town. Breakfast and check-in are both done at the Edgbaston Hotel across the road.

GGuest UserFabulous apartment, really spacious, clean and tidy with all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay.
Reception staff were very polite friendly and helpful, would be nice if the reception hours were longer though.
Location was perfect for easy access to all the attractions of Birmingham City center, although the area itself doesn't look the nicest it was safe and secure and closer to my both the train and bus station.
Would highly recommend this accommodation and Birmingham in general as a lovely place to visit
