The service was very good. The housekeeper sent me the message and precautions in advance before check-in. The check-in was very smooth. This is very satisfactory."

"The front desk service was excellent; they proactively escorted me from the lobby to the 60th floor. The Gate to the Orient, as a landmark, offers a fantastic view, with panoramic vistas in all directions. The interior floors were impeccably clean; you could practically see your reflection. The extensive waxing is quite luxurious! The transportation is unbeatable. I'll definitely bring my kids ice skating here next time! ⛸️"

Experienced two apartments, Phoenix International Apartment and Suyue International Apartment. The former is mainly cost-effective and the room is large. The latter is more comfortable and the decoration is updated. I personally still prefer the latter. However, both apartments are next to each other, the location is very good, transportation, shopping and eating are very convenient. Su Yue goes south through a community, and there is a street full of restaurants. There are also Phoenix Plaza and Su Yue Plaza downstairs, which is also very close to the subway."

The place where I live is just a few steps downstairs and right next to Shantang Street. It’s super close to Shantang Street. There are a lot of places to eat and you can come and see the night view. The only bad thing is that there is a restricted area for foreigners. Also, parking nearby is a bit expensive.
There is a mahjong table, refrigerator, and microwave in the room, and you can also cook. It is not far from the vegetable market, which is very good."

"Private residence, the decoration on the 27th floor is okay, the room feels good, not the lake view room. The decoration of the room on the 40th floor was average, and there was a bit of smell in the room. You had to pay for the TV yourself, make your own breakfast, and have to check out at 12 o'clock. It felt bad.
It's very quiet. The curtains on the right side of the 40th floor are not in place, so there is a little light. Even if you turn off the lights in the kitchens of the two rooms, there will still be a light on, which will affect your sleep if you don't sleep well."

Driving from Shanghai for 108 kilometers, it takes about 1.45 hours.
Facing East Taihu Lake, there is no obstruction in front. It is the best view position of Suzhou Bay Hotel together with Hengli Hotel, so if the economic conditions allow, you must book a lake view room.
Turn right after leaving the hotel, cross the road, and walk for 3-5 minutes to Suzhou Cultural Center, including cinemas, theaters, museums, and digital museums, which are all free to visit. You can also go directly to the Taihu Lake and walk for 5 minutes to the observation deck.
On weekend nights, you can go to the lakeside in advance to reserve a seat to watch the musical fountain, the sunset, and the market. There are also beer bars open until the early morning, with many types of beer.
Environment:
The hotel building is tall, the environment is bright, the interior design is young and modern, the lobby public space is large, there are free tea and candy, and there is also a coffee bar at your own expense.

The room space is very large, see the picture. I booked a lake view, not a full lake view, but it was basically unobstructed. Downstairs was the sailing center, and you could see the white sails on the lake while lying on the bed.
Pet-friendly hotel, with a dedicated elevator for dogs, so you can feel at ease with each other.
The swimming pool can be used for free at Hengli Hotel. Take the elevator to the -1 floor and change to their hotel's elevator to go up. The swimming pool is larger than that of ordinary hotels, and you must experience it if you like swimming.

The service is super friendly, especially the tall female manager at the front desk, who is warm and thoughtful, with a bright smile throughout the whole process and high efficiency.
If you arrive early, you can store your luggage at the front desk, and free drinks are provided when you check in. It doesn't matter if you want one more cup.
4 bottles of mineral water are provided in the room, and if it is not enough, you can pick it up for free at the front desk.
Two more bottles of water and an wormwood hammer were given before checking out.
In short, it was a very good stay experience, and the cost performance is higher than the hotel next door.
Reminder🔔After all, it is a hotel apartment, so the breakfast is relatively simple, but there are still omelettes and noodles stalls. The noodles are good, and the small vegetarian table is especially delicious😋There are also other Chinese and Western snacks, dishes, tea and coffee, and fruits, but the variety is a little less.
The apartment hotel does not have a restaurant, but there is one next door. There is also a restaurant at the wedding center, which is a 5-minute walk from the hotel. Guting Hotel is a newly opened chain store, and the taste is good.

MMAXIM D.Very good apartment in one of the skyscrapers in the Suzhou Industrial Park district. Despite our request to live on the higher floor with a lake view, we lived in the apartment on the 27th (from 47) floor with the city view. Probably, they just don't have lake-view apartments. However, there is another skyscraper in front of our building. Though, the room was perfect! Very clean, with home shoes, slippers, bath and face towels, teeth kits, kitchen (fridge, microwave, kettle). However, there was no cookware or dishware. We also needed an iron (as was promised in the room description), but the administrator brought us a steamer (which is even better) a few hours after the request.
There are many convenient stores around, where you can buy even cooked food.
In general, we recommend this place to everyone!
Очень хорошие апартаменты в одном из небоскрёбов в районе Индустриального парка Сучжоу. Несмотря на нашу просьбу заселить нас максимально высоко с видом на озеро, нам досталась комната на 27 (из 47) этаже с видом на город. Возможно, у них просто нет комнат повыше с видом на озеро. Однако, прямо перед этим небосрёбом находится другой со стороны как раз озера. И всё равно, сама комната оказалась просто превосходной! Очень чистая, с домашними тапочками, душевыми сланцами, банными и лицевыми полотенцами, зубным набором, кухней (холодильник, микроволновка, чайник). Однако, не было ни посуды для приготовления, ни столовой посуды. Когда нам понадобился утюг (а он был обещан в описании номера), мы попросили администратора, и тот принёс отпариватель (что даже удобнее) через несколько часов.
Вокруг здания много небольших магазинчиков, в том числе с готовой едой.
В общем и целом, мы рекомендуем это место для всех путешественников!

KKikoWe enjoyed our stay here at Somerset Baitang! We’ve stayed in other Somerset branches before, and this is up there as one of the better ones. They cleaned our room nicely when they did, even washing the dishes we used the day prior. The amenities were well maintained, and the location is pretty nice (there’s a lovely park just behind the hotel, it’s walking distance from the metro station and about a 10 minute car ride to Jinji Lake). Special props to Penny and Wendy for taking care of us all throughout our stay! Will book here again next time we come back for a visit. 😃

LLanceyouThis weekend, my wife and I went to Shangfangshan National Forest Park to see the cherry blossoms. I have been living in the old city and have visited the old city. I want to go to Jinji Lake in the new district to see the night view. I want to find a place closer to the Ferris wheel and the Angel Wings statue, and I can see the big pants. After a lot of choices, I found this hotel apartment. Walking into the lobby on the first floor, it is very clean, with a doorman and a front desk. The elevator hall has access control, and the elevator also needs to swipe the card to start, so it is very safe. The room is a password lock. The owner contacted me early in the morning to confirm the arrival time. After adding WeChat, he carefully sent the door lock password, WIFI link password, and how to use the control panel in the room. He also sent the shower to open it for hot water. The room is very tidy, the bathroom is clean and well-equipped, with towels and disposable towels. There is a kitchen with all the supplies. You can see the Angel Wings and the big pants in the room. Turn left and walk straight for 5 minutes to the Angel Wings, which is next to the Ferris wheel. The riverside is even more beautiful and gorgeous at night. It is only 15 minutes away from the Moonlight Pier. Turn right and you will reach the popular Tianmu subway station in 15 minutes. Standing at the window, you can directly see the long neon strip of Tianmu. In short, it is very convenient to travel. If I go again, I will stay and recommend it.

LLaoDaWeiThis was my go to hotel in Suzhou for location and price. The room facilities are excellent - with a fully equipped kitchen. The rooms are not modern but have a dated charm - there is also a window in the bathroom and a bathtub for those that like a soak.
The breakfast is above average.
My one complaint AND IT'S A BIG ONE! In the executive studios the bathroom doors have been wedged open - this is clearly a privacy issue but also the kitchen is next to the bathroom. No-one wants to stare at a toilet while they are cooking lunch. What were the management thinking - ruining a perfectly good room! A couple of stars knocked off until that issue is sorted!

GGuest UserNo English spoken here when I went so be sure to have a translation app or some basic mandarin under your belt. You will have to call the hotel so they can pick you up on a moped. Luckily my friend speaks mandarin and the moped came in handy for our huge suitcase. Keep in mind there are a few entrances and didis can’t enter. The closest entrance to where I stayed was not where our didi dropped us off. Room has a sweet Bluetooth system installed in the ceiling which with my peach blossom wine was giving vibes. Also, the roads here are like old style bricks so suitcases beware! Consider packing light for your stay here but I highly recommend the peach blossom wine and the stall nearby covered in flowers nearby! $78 rmb for a jar and if you buy 3 they’ll give a 4th free!
