With a lot of heart and soul, we have renovated the building in 2021, extended it and converted it into a cosy holiday home with a lot of charm. The living area is located in the old, upgraded roof truss and makes evenings with family or friends particularly cosy. From the new roof terrace you have a beautiful view over the village to the south valleys. The interior of the building has a new modern look, but the old wooden elements have been deliberately left, upgraded and reused. The result is a house with a lot of character. On the ground floor there is a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with bath/shower/WC, a playroom with a pull-out sofa that can be used as an additional room and a laundry room with wardrobe and large ski boot dryer. The upper floor is the sleeping floor with 4 bedrooms and two wet rooms, each with a shower and WC. In the newly converted attic is the spacious modern kitchen with oven, microwave, large fridge and induction hob. The kitchen is equipped with crockery for 14 people. The dining area has a 3.60 metre solid wooden table where all guests can sit together. In fine weather, the sun and mountain scenery can be enjoyed on the terrace, which is accessed from the dining area. The living area is separated from the dining area by a modern fireplace. The location offers a breathtaking, unobstructed view over the valley as well as direct access to hiking trails, biking trails and the ski slopes in winter. Raschainas was formerly the mountain hut of the farmer family Jochberg and today consists of our Bed & Breakfast, group holiday house and farm. Otherwise there are no neighbors, only pure nature with a lot of forest, flowers and meadows in the summer, on which the cows graze and mountains as far as the eye can reach. When it gets colder, Raschainas transforms into a white winter wonderland landscape with beautiful sunrises over the glittering snow. Our studio is equipped with a small kitchen with oven, coffee machine (for Nespresso capsules or ground coffee), kettle, egg cooker and steam cooker. Raclette and fondue utensils can be borrowed from us. We also offer the following comforts: TV, WiFi, wardrobe, seating with dining table, shower, towels and hairdryer. Your studio has its own sunny seating area with a fantastic view. In summer, your terrace is equipped with 2 chairs, a table and a parasol. Sun loungers can be borrowed from us. - Bed linen, towels, WiFi, parking and final cleaning are included - Room cleaning during stay (on request): CHF 16.00.
