Very nice mountain hotel in the heart of the national park. Well equipped rooms. Good Italian breakfast. Friendly and helpful owners. Possibility of many trips to the nature. Parking directly at the hotel. The hotel does not prepare dinners, but there are several excellent options nearby (e.g. La Barme).

Great stay, room is very clean, bed is comfertable. Service is great. Glutenfree home made cake at breakfast every day. Bathroom has everything, enough towels. Nice place near the river and quiet at night. Entrance late at night by code so you come as you please.

Best bits about the hotel were the breakfast and the location. Breakfast was hearty buffet perfect for setting up a wslking ***. Location in Valnontey means you are at the foot of the trail to the Sella refuge and that bit closer to the glaciers compared to Cogne. Room was clean with balcony: only issue was that shower took a while to get warm. Two sisters friendly and helped us with walks. Go to Bar du Village for drinks with view of glaciers.

Had a wonderful stay here. The hotel’s location is beautiful and you can start your hike in the area right from the hotel. The staff was very nice, the room was large and breakfast was good with a large selection of cold items. Will gladly return here.

I loved staying in Valnontey, and the two sisters, Nathalie and Christine, who manage Hotel Herbetet couldn't be more welcoming or helpful! The room was clean and nicely designed, with a little view out the window down the valley. The breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend staying at Hotel Herbetet.

Sulla strada che va da Cogne al Massiccio del Gran Paradiso ,prima del sentiero ,si arriva all' hotel herbetet. Li si parcheggia comodamente e gratuitamente.Siami arrivati con i nostri due piccoli cani e siamo stati accolti dalla titolare con un sorriso e un benvenuto affettuoso. Preso l'ascensore siamo stati alloggiati al terzo piano mansardato, un po' piccolo di dimensione ma sufficiente .Il bagno finestrato e la vista della camera verso le cime innevate rendono l'ambiente soddisfacente.Magari si potrebbe cercare un frigobar o uno specchio ulteriore ma credo sia del tutto superfluo per chi in montagna ci và per fare passeggiate e rilassarsi.La colazione è davvero un punto di forza dell' hotel.Dalle torte fatte in casa, buonissime,agli affettati e formaggi locali.Non manca di nulla,anche le ciliegie che abbiamo gradito .La titolare , Christine ,ci ha fatto sentire come fossimo a casa nostra .Davvero un ottima vacanza che ci piacerebbe ripetere . Consigliato.

Struttura molto bella ristrutturata di recente, in posizione silenziosa, proprietari gentilissimi sempre disponibili. Camera e bagno spaziosi con arredamento in legno molto carino, pulizia eccellente. Colazione super con ottimi prodotti sia dolci che salati, molto comoda la macchina per le bevande calde. Albergo da consigliare, in posizione comoda per escursioni nel bellissimo parco del Gran Paradiso. Mirella e Moreno - Toscana

Sono tornata in questo Hotel lo scorso week end e, come per la prima volta, ne sono rimasta incantata: è una perla! Frequento Cogne dal 1971 e Valnontey è sempre stato parte del mio cuore, non potevo non tornare adesso dopo l'alluvione che l'ha colpita. In questo Hotel, curato nei piccolissimi particolari, mi riconnetto con il mondo forse proprio perchè sembra di essere fuori dal mondo! Solo stare sul balcone vale la pena del viaggio! Siamo state anche fortunate perchè abbiamo goduto di un upgrade per cui ci è stata data una junior suite dalla quale è stato difficile uscire! Se amate la natura, la quiete, il silenzio, la gentilezza e volete rigenerarvi non fatevi scappare questo incanto!

Abbiamo passato un bellissimo week end assieme alla nostra cagnolina in questo hotel fantastico, camera molto accogliente con balcone vista Gran Paradiso, pulitissima, bagno con phon e vari saponi, colazione molto buona, personale gentilissimo, ci hanno persino regalato un sacchetto con all'interno una ciotola pieghevole e dei bocconcini per la nostra barboncina, ampio parcheggio. Lo consiglio!!!... E spero di poterci tornare molto presto!!!
