Hotel les Montagnards

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Hotel from 17 to 21 October. We had a large room with a balcony overlooking Mont Blanc, a nice bathroom with bathtub, television, kettle for herbal teas and coffee and a mini bar. All very clean and well kept. Very kind staff, breakfast included with a wide choice of jams, yogurt and local butter, bread, brioche, savory breakfast and sweet cakes. There would also have been the opportunity (included in the price) to use the hotel spa by booking it an hour before. The hotel is located near the main road so it is very convenient for moving from one place to another and, moreover, there is also a supermarket, a pharmacy, a bar and a focacceria / pizzeria nearby. The center of Morgex is within walking distance of the hotel. What can I say, highly recommended place and where I would go back!

We decided to book this property which has always given us the idea of being welcoming and comfortable! Unfortunately we had to change our minds and with sad regret as well as being disappointed we were also insulted by the owner. We stayed in the apartment located inside the hotel (considered a 3-star superior) with the addition of the daily cleaning of the rooms. the apartment has 2 blind bathrooms, one of which is completely devoid of power sockets. My daughter (an 8-year-old girl) goes to the bathroom to take a shower and closing the door remains the window completely unhinged in her hand. I immediately go to the reception, who sends the owner's husband to the apartment; who kindly explains to us how to make the glass re-enter when it completely leaves the tracks waiting for the timely arrival of the worker. Everything was really dangerous because in addition to being unhinged it was very heavy. And it was obviously at our own risk. AFTER 4 DAYS I go back to the reception to report that the technician is waiting; pointing out that following the breakdown it was 3 days that to avoid getting hurt and for fear of the glass collapsing we used the shower in my parents' holiday home. with a lot of comfort on the part of the hotel staff and having to adapt ourselves to the timing of the plumber we are finally able (after 4 days) to get the fault repaired; discovering that the problem had been present for over a year and the risk of the window falling was high. On the day of check out we go to the reception; convinced of receiving further apologies from the director but also a minimum discount given the damage suffered; and for the countless amounts of dust we had found under the bed (an allergic would have had a respiratory crisis); bringing the same lady to view what was stated, pointing out that we had paid for a daily cleaning service. The gentle-looking owner was shouting in an inhuman way both inside and outside the hotel, asserting that we were finding the most useless excuses not to pay a small remaining expense. scaring our children too. Not content, she continued to shout outside the hotel, arousing the interest of all passers-by; although I politely invited her to maintain a contained manner and tone But it was not really possible to have a civil conversation; polite but above all clarifying Moral of the story; the lady wanted all the payment despite the bathroom damage; poor cleaning; and the grotesque scene to say the least we had just witnessed and immediately. In the receipt he had also added a surcharge of 20 euros which my husband immediately noticed and proceeded to be reimbursed as unmotivated. Charming hotel combining the old and the modern, very well maintained, quiet (only 13 rooms, spacious, very well soundproofed and very clean), magnificent setting (our room with a small balcony overlooked the village in the foreground and the snow-capped mountains in the horizon), very well located, covered parking possible. Very welcoming and caring staff, eager to provide us with all the information we needed. Buffet breakfast with very good products and very friendly and attentive service person. It is so rare to have a welcome of this level, non-intrusive but always ready to help. A big thank you for this exceptional stay, we will definitely be back.

Posto perfetto nel quale rilassarsi. Ho soggiornato una notte in questo hotel immerso nella natura. La pulizia della camera nella media nulla di pretenzioso ma la camera molto accogliente, con balconcino adatto per rilassarsi con un bel panorama. Colazione direi molto buona, non esagerata offerta ma è giusto così, anche per evitare lo spreco (torte, brioches, cereali, yogurt, frutta, succhi, caffetteria, biscotti, frutta secca). Personale accogliente, parcheggio auto di fronte all'hotel molto comodo e anche un garage disponibile. Per chi deve andare alle terme molto comodo! Direi di ritornare sicuramente!

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans cet hôtel bien situé et où l’accueil était très chaleureux. La chambre était spacieuse, très propre et les lits confortables . La décoration est de bon goût avec beaucoup de bois. Salle de bain moderne , bien chauffée avec suffisamment de place pour déposer nos affaires personnelles. Petit-déjeuner buffet copieux avec de bons produits frais et une dame très aimable pour le service des boissons chaudes. Si nous retournons dans la région, nous n’hésiterons pas à retourner dans cet hôtel
