This was a holiday long in the making. We finally got there … and it was absolutely breath taking. 7 days of beach front magic. The team at the resort are beautiful.. the food was a surprise for sure and honestly some of the best meals we have had. I would 100 percent recommend this Island paradise!!

Beautiful resort with great staff and facilities. We only did a day trip to Aore Resort as an adventure and it was a great escape, fares, common areas, gardens and facilities all look wonderful and staff were welcoming and great. Would certainly consider staying here.

Wonderful tropical resort to completely unwind. Do as much or as little as you want. Immaculate presentation throughout the whole resort. The setting is just stunning! Comfortable rooms serviced by the friendly staff daily. Food was amazingly tasty. Best eye fillet we have tasted and the fish was cooked to perfection! Vegetables and salad always so fresh. Staff extremely friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended staying at Aore Resort. Thank you Aore for an incredible stay.

To whom it may concern, I have recently stayed at your alleged resort on Aore island from the 28/11/2024 to the 05/12/2024. I have a few points I would like to bring to your attention which would be beneficial for you and all future visitors. 1. I understand that it is a tropical location and there are bugs that come with that, but there has been no measures taken to try and reduce the impact of said bugs on the guests of this “resort”. Not even a f citronella candle is in site to combat the bug problem. Instead you thought one communal can of bug repellent will do the trick located at the bar. What a f joke that is to cut some costs. 2. The way we are expected to eat like we are on a school camp is outrageous considering the price tag you slapped on this “resort”. Like seriously can’t even have f lunch if we don’t come in between 12pm-2pm. God forbid you leave this god forsaken island to go explore another part of Vanuatu and want to eat outside of those hours. 3. The quality of food that is on offer here is foul. My partner got her steak brought to her with a serving of f flies on the side. Could’ve at least salted them for her f me dead. This is after she spent the first night here with severe gastro. The portions are outrageous as well considering we are practically told what times we have to eat. It’s like this island “resort” is a fat camp. Ate my dinner of fish in 4 f mouthfuls and got charged a premium for it, didn’t even taste good. 4. Now onto dessert, the one thing that people like on this menu of yours is the chocolate moose, appears you have more chance of winning the powerball jackpot than getting a serving of the chocolate moose. It’s not like there’s 100 people at this s hole either, would be lucky if there was 20 people and you can’t even cater for that. 5. The accommodation situation is another thing, once again I understand that we are in a tropical location but the bugs that we are sleeping with is foul. They end up splattered on our bed sheets and we are expected to sleep in that. Not to mention the geckos, I was laying down on my bug infested bed on Sunday afternoon and a full gecko s landed on my chest. Not only that but our entire room has been peppered in gecko s. It smells like a petting zoo in our accommodation and it is absolutely unacceptable, especially for the money that we have paid. 6. Entertainment is a word that must mean nothing to you. Apart from next to none activities to do throughout the day, there is no evening entertainment such as a band, fire shows or anything. No exposure to culture which is what happens at real resorts in tropical locations in the pacific islands. We arrive to have dinner at the time we are told once again, have our fat camp sized meals and are left with no form of entertainment or anything. The bar staff pack the place up as soon as you have your last mouthful and you are made to feel like you need to go back to your accommodation by 8pm to stare at the f ceiling cause you don’t e

I was after a diving holiday on the Coolidge and the Aore Island Resort was suggested to me by my travel advisor. OK, I love the place, the setting is magical. The accommodation is great and the staff were wonderful. It is obviously a bit dearer than being in Luganville, but the setting and peace and quiet made it all worthwhile. The staff are amazing, the meal good, with a few options (lunch - 4 options - 20-30,000 v, dinner - entree - 2 options 10-20000, mains 4 options, 22-30000 v), The meals were great, no problem there. I was probably a bit more pampered than most as there were very few other visitors due to the shut down of Air Vanuatu. For divers, you are locked into the restaurant for meals, although there are boat trips over to Santo the timing doesn't workout for meals. Good other activities, snorkeling, kayaks, fat bikes, and other stuff. However, the big shortcoming is the wifi. Do not rely on it, or even hope for it. These days wifi is essential to maintain contact with the rest of the world, and in my case, my wife. I spoke with staff when I first had issues with it, nothing happened to resolve the lack of coverage. I understand not having coverage throughout the whole of the resort, but sitting in the restaurant/reception area and having no coverage 99.9% of the time was less than stellar. It got to the point that I had to catch one of their boats to Santo and find the local internet provider (Digicel) to buy a SIM with some data on it so I could maintain contact with my wife. These days, this lack of coverage when promised is unacceptable. The only other issue that some people may have an issue with is that there is no air conditioning. There is lots of shade, lots of fans, and usually some air flow. If there isn't it can be uncomfortable, but I was there in the wet season so I was prepared for it.

After our arranged accommodation was cancelled, we sent a Facebook message to Aore Island Resort asking if they had accommodation available for the night. They responded in minutes offering us a bungalow and giving us all the information we needed. We caught their boat across and were met by a member of staff who apologised that our bungalow wasn't quite ready. We had a cocktail in the bar, but within 10 minutes, she'd returned to take us to our bungalow. It was beautiful with everything we needed and extra touches, including a welcome coconut to drink. We had dinner in the restaurant and they cooked a special meal for me as I'm vegetarian which was delicious. When we asked what time we needed to check out the following day, they invited us to stay as long as we liked. We had breakfast with free champagne the next morning with excellent service and food. When it was time to leave, the boat came to the front of the bungalow to collect our baggage so we didn't have to carry it. The resort was beautiful, the staff were beautiful and we had a beautiful time!

For me it just feels great to visit this nice and friendly resort. This Aore Island Resorts is excellent, the food is very tasty and all the staff are excellent and make you very welcome. In addition to diving and snorkeling, they also offer numerous recreational options. Also thanks to the wonderful and friendly resort manager who makes my stay unforgettable even after a tropical infection. So… don't hesitate and just book, you won't regret it, and… maybe you will come back to Aore Island Resort again.
