Hot spring Hotels in Aomori

Aomori is a small city, and the Aomori Center Hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the train station, and seafood market. The entrance to the hotel is located on a back street so if you are coming on your own, it may be a bit hard to find. Plus the hotel reception is located on the second floor of an old building, and the entrance does not look like a hotel at all. Free coffee is available at the lobby though. Check in was smooth. The staff explained the hotel info to us, the public bath, the restaurant, the amenities, etc. We have the corner room which has a window on both side of the room. The hotel is a bit dated as mentioned by other guests. But given the relatively low price tag and convenient location, it is still a good choice for many people. The room has most the of facilities you need, TV, air conditioning control, kettle, mini fridge, a couch, and the bed is quite big and comfy. The onsen located on the second floor is one of the selling point of the hotel. Outsiders can pay to enjoy the onsen as well. There are also a canteen style restaurant which closes at 10:00pm, offers a variety of dishes at a reasonable price. Breakfast is offered at the same restaurant in a buffet style, with quite a variety of choice and drinks. When in Aomori, free flow of apple juice is not to be missed.

Inter-type route inn near Aomori Chuo Interchange. Stayed on the GW2 day of 10 consecutive holidays. Because it is a super busy period, it was difficult to secure the inn, but the intertype route inn may be the best in the busy period. It seems that it is not so high. Even in the same route inn, I felt that it was very high if it was a station type. The facilities are so uniform, but they are stable. It is a chain hotel that provides a good quality room without shortage. It is also large in two wheels that there is a roof at the entrance. The route inn is incorporated into any accommodation plan called ”free”, but this day usually starts at 6:30 and starts at 6:00 in response to the busy period. As a regional character, fried with squid fried and baby scallops, miso curry milk boiled. I think it is good. The number and taste are bad, and the regional color is produced. The room was spacious, the meal was good, and it was not so high for the time. Satisfaction was high.

Located off the mountain road into a forest, it is a hotel with western style building. We arrived a bit late at before 5 o’clock. Check in was smooth. The hotel prepared an English version information sheet for the English speaking guests. We have a deluxe room facing the forest, and it is kind of a suite, with bedroom and living room area separated. There is a small balcony where when weather is good one can enjoy the good scenery. There are two air conditioners in both sides of the room which provide both heat and cool. Other room amenities are provided such as bottle water and coffee. There is no elevator in the hotel so you may have to carry the big bag up or down the steps. Onsen is located on the lowest floor. The outdoor onsen is very good, overlooking the forest. But it seems that the onsen is visible form the parking lot. There is a rest area with massage loungers outside the onsen. The dinner and breakfast are served in two separate restaurants. The dinner we enjoyed gave us a pleasant surprise, the food quality and taste are both very good. Breakfast was buffet style with good quality of food.

I decided to come all the way from Tokyo to this location near Aomori in the middle of some heavy heavy snowfall and snow blizzards. Thankfully, the Ryokan is literally in front of the train station. This was very helpful in the middle of a white out snow blizzard. Expect this kind of weather in northern Aomori in mid-December. The train station Asamushi Onsen on the Aomori Railway is fairly straightforward to access from Aomori Station and brings you to the Ryokan fairly easily. There isn't a big sign which would have been helpful during a snow blizzard. Check-in was fairly easy , even with no Japanese, the lady understood the important basic things required for simple check in I needed to know. I had asked for an ”ocean” view when booking and that was the best part really.. amazing view of Mutsu Bay from the room. The room was a really really big tatami floored room for just one. Nice softbeds, some loose matcha green tea leaves and tea set/kettle. Despite the spacious room, almost no space between ends of beds and cheap wardrobe. Kind of just shoved in there. TV and Japanese dining table although I didn't use them. And an Aomori Apple cake of some description to welcome, nice touch. Really annoying noisy air conditioner / heater, although managed to turn off the ”swing” function that kept me awake. Reception had a nice log fire, but it's a kind of dark and creepy place. I guess there's not much happening here in mid-winter. Here was the onsen. Pretty standard bathing facility is you're familiar with these kinds of onsen. No view so nothing special or noteworthy to write. Had to use it as the room had no bathroom. I didn't eat meals here so cannot comment. The location is excellent, near some places to buy food and the other onsens and places of interest all nearby. I wonder if they need to update one or two things as it does feel kind of outdated but for the price and size of room, cannot complain.

Bajiatian Hotel is a good hotel in my life. It was a super snowstorm on the same day. My wife and I can only be a hotel activity. It is comfortable in the wind. It is outdoor. The restaurant is good. After Japanese and Western food, it is a good feeling. 😴 Special mention of the hotel system. Other food 🤣 Remember that the cup noodles are full! ! So if the hotel is not going to the department, it will buy any other food 🥱 But the service quality is very high, the hotel is clean and worth going to a good place.

It was good that the first Aomori was here. It is an inn without saying anything in the best location as a hot spring inn. Others have written it, but I made a reservation at JTB and became a room on the top floor and the sea side. It is outstanding to leave, and from the window of the room, you can see the Yunoshima Island of Kojima and the cars passing through the coastline. I watched the Tsugaru shamisen live, but I didn't think the shamisen was so powerful. It's not easy to find a hot spring street that is not in the old forest in the mountains these days (in fact, the hotels in Asamushi are a bit scattered). Talk about the shortcomings, the hotel welcomes you free of charge, but you need to make an appointment or call after you arrive at Asamushi Station. You do n’t need to worry about Japanese if you are in Japan. Even more trouble. However, you can try your luck. Saturday's pick-ups may be intensive, and we just happened to get in the car. If you go by yourself, it ’s not as easy to find as the other ones. Yu Zhi Tang is next to him, and it ’s not easy to find. On the contrary, those who can see the sea are very eye-catching and easy to find. The room is a bit small, to be honest, but eating well can make up for some regrets.

I arrived after 14:30, but I was kept waiting until the check-in time of 15:00. The staff in the front area rushed around. I started to have a bad feeling about this kind of inn because it doesn't have a working system. The facilities are old, but the rooms are clean. The spring quality of the hot spring is sodium, calcium, sulfate, and chloride, and is weakly alkaline with a pH of 8.21. Metasilicic acid is high at 131.6 mg/Kg, so it has high moisturizing power and is a hot spring for beautiful skin. The abalone steamed in sake (optional) for dinner was excellent, but the other dishes were ordinary. Sweet chawanmushi is not available. Is breakfast like a business hotel? It's not limited to this inn, but even though it's a seaside inn, the fish is salmon. Overall, it was an inn without a sense of extraordinary, but the panoramic view of Mutsu Bay and the Tsugaru shamisen concert at night were extraordinary. One more point, there is a large hall-like room on the first floor, but the inside is a messy storeroom. What's more, the door is made of glass, so you can see inside. Ambiguous management attitude can be seen. wake up. disappointing.

I decided to go here because of the word of mouth that the food was delicious. In the end, I was very satisfied. I could feel their sincerity in wanting me to enjoy delicious food. I could imagine that some important people must have bathed in the hot springs, especially the old bathtubs, in the past, and I was very satisfied with the quality of the water. And the food. It goes without saying, but I was very satisfied. I felt sorry for having to pay so much for the price. Especially the scallops and abalone.
