上田市から車で約３０分の山間の田沢温泉にある古い旅館です。 傾斜地に建っているため、館内は廊下と階段でまるで迷路。 内風呂はほんのり硫黄臭がしめちゃくちゃ温まる良質な温泉です。 露天風呂は開放的で視界には山のみ、聞こえてくるのは鳥のさえずりのみで、とても癒されます。 食事は大王イワナ、信州サーモン、桜刺し、がとても美味しかったです！

厳寒期の２月初旬、平日に妻と２泊した。８畳に広い広縁と広いトイレがよかった。広縁には洗面器がトイレにはヒーターあり。部屋の外庭に降り積もった白い雪が庭と調和してとてもきれいだ。温泉は名湯で名高い有乳湯(うちゆ)の公衆浴場と同じ源泉。源泉の有乳湯は天然の微炭酸が多く含まれており体がぬるぬるする。30ｍ離れたここはそこまではないがそれでも湯の華が舞う素晴らしい温泉だ。公衆温泉の有乳湯はいつも多くの人でにぎわい宿の内湯はそれほどでもないから。内湯も露天もいつも静かなのがよい、ここの露天風呂は奥側に大きな岩の仕切りがあり足置きと頭置きが二人分並んであって星の夜空が大きく見れる。少しぬるめの温泉は長湯が合う。 料理がこれまた良い。和洋折衷のバランスといい、味もよく見栄えも全てが満点だ。量も多いから少し減らしてほしいくらい。朝食もよい。隣にコーヒーもある。 今まで数多くの温泉宿を訪問したがここが一番良かった。これまでトリップでは５点満点で４点が私の最高点だったが唯一ここが５点の満点の№1となった。温泉も料理もコスパもダントツに良かった。旅行支援で20％引き、信州割クーポン2000円/人を利用した。
