This charming hotel is about a 30-minute walk from the center of Anzio at a relaxed pace, but it’s ideally located near plenty of local bars and restaurants. Right across the road, there’s a spotlessly clean beach—perfect for a morning swim or evening stroll. The family who runs the hotel are absolutely lovely. They truly go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and memorable. The heated pool, complete with a bubble/spa area, is a real highlight—especially after a day of exploring. The views from the hotel are breathtaking, offering a peaceful, scenic backdrop throughout your stay. Rooms come with all the standard amenities, and the beds are very comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. Overall, a fantastic place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Anzio!

What a delightful 3 star hotel. We stayed here with our daughter and her partner for 3 nights. Unfortunately we were not able to stay longer. The first thing I’d like to say is how pleasant Nino was. We exchanged emails a few times before booking our rooms, he was always kind, answering promptly and perfect English. Our rooms were at the front of the hotel with a balcony and a beautiful see view. Rooms are comfortable, air conditioned and have everything you need including a fridge with complimentary water. The sandy beach is literally across the road and if opting for an umbrella and sun bed you get a 20% discount because you are staying in L’approdo. We would definitely recommend this hotel especially as I have left the best until last. A great breakfast is served on the top floor with a beautiful view of the sea and something for everybody sweet and savoury and the bonus also on the top floor is a heated swimming pool……. Divine

While traveling through Italy we had difficulties with the train as most Americans do. We found ourselves in Anzio at 8pm. Tired and hungry we made it to the hotel and we’re greeted warmly by Nino(hopefully spelled correctly. He went above and beyond by calling the local restaurants to find out which were open for us to eat at. Cannot thank Nino enough.

We had trouble finding the turn to Via Ardeatina & called the hotel. Shortly thereafter, Nino came to meet us so we could follow him to the hotel. That set the tone. The family working at breakfast were delightful. The rooms were spotless, the rooftop pool a delight and the location great. It is across from the beach and walking distance to restaurants. We were there 3 nights. Our family that met us from Roma were also delighted with the hotel and family atmosphere. We will definitely return and highly recommend Hotel L'Approdo.

Hotel that directly overlooks the coast, with truly enchanting views. The staff is truly kind and helpful. The stay was truly comfortable, the room was really kept in order and clean. The terrace is truly spectacular and if someone needs to smoke they can do so comfortably sitting admiring the sea. Breakfast is good. Mr. Nino is also a truly kind and affable person. Hotel "L'Approdo" for me is a point of reference every time I stop in Anzio for work! I highly recommend it!

Great location, just a stone's throw from the sea. The hotel has a private parking lot but it is also easy to find parking outside on the seafront. Quiet, very clean and welcoming room. Fantastic rooftop with swimming pool, solarium terrace for breakfast with sea view! All the staff were very kind and extremely helpful. We hope to return soon!

The swimming pool with hydromassage and heated to 30°C (unique on the entire coast) is ideal for those who want to relax in the sweet breath of the sea breeze. The breakfast is varied and carefully prepared: a special mention for the homemade desserts made by Angela, the manager's wife. Spacious and bright rooms, very kind staff and attentive to the needs of the customer. Serious professionals still exist and they are the ones who bring prestige to this magnificent country of ours.
