Stayed at Starin Hotel for two nights, and the experience was quite disappointing. The air conditioning in the room consistently blew hot air, and when I raised this with the service staff, they were unable to assist. Instead, they informed me that the aircon is centrally controlled and currently set to hot air. When I asked how I was supposed to sleep in a stuffy, hot room, their only solution was, “open the windows and sleep then.” This response was both unprofessional and unacceptable. Room and corridors smell of smoke as they allow smoking throughout the hotel.
On a positive note, I appreciated the use of robots to deliver food takeaway orders directly to the room – that was efficient and convenient. However, basic amenities such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, and shavers were not provided, which added to the overall poor experience. Gym, swimming pool and laundry service isn’t available too. Pretty much non-existent amenities here.

This stay was far beyond my expectations! The staff was considerate and attentive, demonstrating their professionalism from the check-in guide to the response to needs. The cleanliness of the guest rooms was amazing, the bedding was white as new, there was no water stain on the mirror in the bathroom, and even the corners were spotlessly clean. The city view was good, and the winter sun just shone through the window, which was particularly warm and comfortable. I especially liked the bath care set, which had high-grade fragrance and fine and dense foam. After washing, the skin was moisturized without feeling tight, which was comparable to a super five-star experience. Every detail reflects the hotel's persistent pursuit of quality. I will choose it again on my next business trip!
