"When you enter this hotel, you are greeted pleasantly by the large and welcoming reception area. However, as you walk through the corridors, the atmosphere changes; they are cold and stripped of decoration, giving them a somewhat sober appearance.

As for breakfast, although it is extensive and varied with a good curries on offer, there is one small drawback: the buffet is located in the hotel corridor. This means that you have to constantly leave the restaurant to access the breakfast options, which can be somewhat inconvenient.
Lastly, it is worth mentioning that there are not many options in the surrounding area. There is a lake where you can walk around, but if you are looking for restaurants or nightlife, you will have to travel to the city, which is quite far away.

The room is quite big, but the facilities are old. The refrigerator doesn't work, and the air conditioner is noisy. The biggest problem is that there is no quilt, only a bed sheet. The hotel is located in Anuradhapura, with beautiful pagoda ruins visible across a large lake. The environment of the hotel is quite beautiful, and the swimming pool is also very good. The supply of buffet breakfast is not stable. We stayed for 4 nights in a row. Breakfast was buffet breakfast on two days and set meal on two days. The explanation given by the hotel was that the buffet breakfast was not open because the tour bus had left and there were too few people. Anyway, it’s quite interesting to have a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. Picture 1 is the set breakfast we had (the portions were huge), and Pictures 2 and 3 are the buffet breakfast.

Yesterday We celebrated our Big day at the Heritage Hotel Anuradhapura it was a lovely Day.The service was excellent and the staff help us to so much .We really enjoyed our day .The food was very yummy .And the room was very clean. Highly recommended this Hotel.
