Water damage stains on the walls/dirty textiles/broken light fixture in the room. Bar at night on the roof top very noisy no soundproofing between rooms Very poor service at reception. I advise against it!

We stayed here for a night during our visit to Anuradhapura, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences we've had. The rooms were untidy, with many mosquitoes, and the AC didn’t work properly. The restaurant staff was friendly, and the food was acceptable. Unfortunately, we couldn't sleep at all due to discomfort, and the hot water didn’t work well. The staff was unhelpful, and overall, we wouldn’t recommend this place.

The hotel is near Thissa Wewa and offers a superb view. However, the rooms and public areas are not well cleaned. Despite this, they charge high prices, which are not worth it. It feels like you're paying for the view rather than the service and facilities, which is unreasonable. Not recommended

We chose this hotel because of its good reviews. The views were stunning, but the maintenance was lacking. The staff was very friendly, but the food wasn’t great. They also host weddings, which can make the place crowded and noisy, disturbing a peaceful stay. If you're planning to stay, be sure to check if a wedding is scheduled on the same day.

Relaxed environment. Courteous helpful staff. Rooms spacious clean and comfortable. We were well looked after by the attentive staff. They seemed to employ people who live around the hotel which must help provide extra income to those families.Manager Sanath chef Sudath? and wait staff members were professional and very friendly. Very happy and will definitely visit again

Everything’s fine here. Perfect service, excellent food and a stunning view. The room was so nice and large and the privat balcony invited to relax. So we just can recommend The Lake Forest. So much to see and to explore in the near surrounding.
