The property is conveniently located just off a central restaurant area and about 250 m from Antwerp Central Train Station as well as the Opera Metro station - in opposite directions. We spent six nights at this apartment. The building housing the property is an old structure (as are most in Europe), it is a high ceiling one room converted into a mezzanine bedroom and the bathroom on the lower floor. The room and bathroom is spacious. Though we did not do any cooking the apartment is outfitted for the same. Coffee maker with a fridge and microwave were available in the room. A small sit out balcony is nice for a summer evening glass of wine. Good location, comfortable and spacious apartment makes this a good place to stay in Antwerp. We found the 3 day Antwerp City Pass for 65/- Euro which covers train, bus and a variety of entrance tickets to many attractions well worth it. For our subsequent days we purchased the 99/- Euro 10 journey train ticket which allows you to travel anywhere in Belgium for Single One Journey (hence you can make 5 return trips to any city), this worked for our trips to the other cities, Antwerp being our base. This pass can be used to purchase tickets for other person travelling with you, the presence of the person purchasing the pass is required on the trip. Though the apartment is not in a fancy area it's location makes it a nice place to stay.
