The Riga Hotel Antwerp is smack in the old town of Antwerp, just a few steps away from restaurants and bars. The hotel is linked to a restaurant. If the hotel desk is not staffed (which happens quite a lot), you are helped in the restaurant side. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel only has some 12 rooms. Some of them are in the back house, with a view or access to the court yard. In general this makes these rooms very quiet, unless other guests are noisy when coming home. The hotel room itself was absolutely clean, spacious, and modern. Internet worked very well. Comfortable bed. My room had an open layout between room and bathroom, with a bath tub that stood in the bed room. Cool feature. Works best for couples or for just one traveler. Parking is most likely difficult (did not see a garage nearby), so it might be best to use public transit or a cab to travel to the hotel. From the station, you can take a tram to the vicinity of the hotel. Keep that in mind if you have a lot of luggage.

Perfect hotel in the historic centre of Antwerp. Rooms are very comfortable and have more space than many other hotels. Staff is very friendly, over all very good hotel. Breakfast is not very fresh, but the dinner options are fenomenal. Would recommend!

Perfection location between the historic and fashion district - everything is walking distance. The property itself is beautifully designed with a minimalistic touch (absolutely loved it); the bed is comfortable and the room is spacious with plenty of light. The staff were friendly, professional and efficient. Everything is catered for and well thought out that nothing is lacking. I would not hesitate to stay here again in my return visits. The functional design of the room could benefit some optimisation - more particularly about the bathroom from the faucet sink design to the shower rack (without compromising the minimalist design of course). I can’t find anything faulty otherwise. The staff and owners put 200% into running an experience in this property.

Didn’t stay at the hotel but dropped into the restaurant when passing by. They were happy to fit us in but we had to wait over an hour for food. When it finally arrived the quality of the food was very poor and for pasta, very expensive. There are lots of Italian restaurants around the centre of Antwerp, I’d recommend avoiding this one and going elsewhere.

Very very unflexible Hotel and did only partially respond to my e-mails. We had to cancel our trip as two persons had corona infections and where very sick. Even if we cancelled 5 days before the took the whole amount. Never ever again……………..

Location is perfect in the old town very close to many bars, cafes and restaurants. The Meir shopping street is also near by. The staff is young and super freindly and professional. The reception area and restaurant is very trendy. Rooms are average in size but very clean and equipped with very quality amenities. Real water and wine glasses and not your typical plastic cups. The Breakfast included in my package was very good and fresh. Freshly squissed orange juice, croissants, bread, eggs and ham and cheese. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars ( I would give 4.5) is that I think there are a few things that need to improve in the rooms: 1. There is not enoug storing space for clothes. 2. There is no door or curtain between the bathroom and the bed are. There is a lack of intemacy. 3.In the shower, there is no spot like a ledge to put your soaps or shamppoo. Little things that are easely solved. I would come back.

Excellent hotel. Michael and his team were amazing - friendly, helpful, professional and efficient. The hotel was clean and the rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Given the size of the hotel, there was a very personal touch. We checked in at very short notice and were afforded amazing flexibility and service, Breakfast was lovely too! I can definitely recommend this hotel for many reasons - including the central location

Dit hotel is een waar genot in stijk. Alles is zo perfect georganiseerd met een prachtige flair van humor en gedienstigheid. J e voelt dadelijk dat je welkom bent. De kamers zijn zeer ruime met een luxe badkamer met een prachtig alleenstaand ligbad en een aparte rain-douche. De kwaliteit van de bedden maakt het comfort kompleet. Het ontbijt was, a la carte en lekker en werd vriendelijk opgediend.. Het hotel beschikt over een mooi restaurant met een Italiaanse kok uit Milaan, die zijn culinaire fantasie mag uitleven voor de lekkerbekken.. Gewoon een sublieme ervaring die we zeker og gaan overdoen..
