Friendly counter and allowed to go to my twin room 4 hours early. Very clean hotel with towels and water supplied. No kettle but I think this must Bea Belgian thing. The station is opposite but it is 20 min walk to the old town. Fine for me but some may want to be nearer. The walk there is the main shopping street. Overall I think it was great value. As a note to other guests, and I always write this, please be more considerate when talking in the corridors especially before 8am. Whisper, your voice echoes and sound meds like you’re shouting. And don’t allow to doors to slam shut!!

The location is great! Just across the street from the main train station, one block away from Chinatown and easy walk to the river and most of the city sights. The rooms are comfortable, with nice bedding, cable TV, in room safe. Busy but generous breakfast area, a cozy bar, efficient gym and free PC with printer is a plus. The staff was very friendly & helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in this beautiful city

If you want staff to do absolutely nothing about someone breaking into your room then this is the hotel for you. I was staying here with my friend in a room on the second floor. Someone tried to break into our room by kicking our door three times. We couldn't reach reception by phone call, I tried texting reception. They messaged us on Whatsapp to not worry and that we are safe even though a person kept trying to break in. They didn't try coming down to our room to check if we were okay. Didn't care about our safety. We then had to call the police and they were taking a long time to get there so we called again only to be told by the 112 operator that the staff weren't letting the police into the hotel. Finally they were let in after our door was being kicked at for an hour. The police were useless since they didn't even check if the area was safe before telling us to just sleep and enjoy our holiday. We wanted to see CCTV footage because there was a camera in our corridor. We went to reception, and a member of staff told us that he had the cctv ready for us because he guessed that we would want to see it. He showed us the recording of the corridor and told us ”see there's no one in front of your door”. But my friend and I noticed that the time stamp was covered by a black rectangle but you can see a bit of the number underneath it. The bottom of the digits could still be seen and clearly read 2 am and not 1 am which is when the incident occurred. When we told him that this is live footage and that we want to see the recording of the 1 am incident, he kept telling us ”no there's no one in front of the door” until he finally admitted to us that this was live footage and that he needs the manager to access the 1 am footage. This seemed sketchy. Why the need to lie about it? We stayed at reception as we were too scared to go back to our room. At around 3 am we decided to try going back. After being in the room for just 10 minutes, someone tried to break down our door again. This time the 112 operator hung up on us and we didn't try calling reception since they proved to be useless. At 3:50am I called a girl from our University course who was on the same floor. She luckily found no one at the door and so we ran down to reception. We stayed at reception all night and didn't sleep. Staff were no help apart from that same staff member offering us ”very stiff alcoholic drinks to help us relax”, that's how he put it, we of course refused but he kept coming back and offering us drinks despite us saying no repeatedly. At around 8 am I saw our lecturer from our course at reception so we went with him to see the cctv footage. At first the manager said that she can't show it to us. When our lecturer said that we'll go to the police then she changed her answer. Before even showing the footage she said ”I looked through the footage earlier and saw that it was a door nearby making the noise because it kept being opened and closed”. We insisted to see the CCTV s

Basic, very unimpressive stay, we arrived late and had a family room. A double + single for my teenage child. They must have given us the worst room in the hotel. The room was dark and dingy, window opened up to a brick wall not far away, and the single bed was placed in a tiny room not much bigger than the single bed. Very claustrophobic. In fact could have been used as a cupboard. My suggestion is to open up the room and remove the wall and move everything around. My child slept with me in the bed. I would not have expected her to sleep in that tiny boxed up area. It just did not feel nice. So all 3 of us slept in the double bed. We didn't have any spare pillows when I requested spares. We didn't have a shower gel either, and the bath towels were so small they didn't even wrap around you I was pretty disappointed and requested to be moved. They moved us the next day. The room had a double bed and a sofa bed. Well, I don't know which was worse. That sofa bed was so hard it was like sleeping on the floor. The breakfast was limited. They best day was Sunday, and we noticed each day that we had less on the buffet as the days went on. The cornflakes were stale. The pancakes miserable. No hot items other than eggs and beans. Just very basic. We chose this hotel because of the parking. However, because we had a big car, we were told it would not fit in the car park. Therefore, the only good thing that was good about this hotel was the location which is close to shops and restaurants and the train station. I did speak to the reception manager the next day and stated my points. She was polite and helpful. Took my points on board. However, I'm not sure if anything will be done about it! For a 4 star hotel and the money we paid per night I would expect more! I don't think I would come back again.

Pros:
- decent location; about 7mins walk from the Antwerp Centraal, and 2mins from Flixbus busstop, though in a relatively quiet corner.
- they have a small common dining area on the ground floor with microwave, fridge, kettle and vending machines selling snacks and coffee. the coffee machine needs some upkeeping though, and the snacks vending machine was done during our period of stay.
Cons:
- if you stay on the lower level floors be prepared to keep your curtains closed - the whole room can be seen clearly from outside the hotel.
- room has everything you need but can't help feeling like it's hollow, barren and empty; there's barely any interior works done to the room.
- no kettle in the room and you will need to deposit 10euros to borrow one.

For the most part the hotel is nice enough, especially for the price. Location is about 10 mins walk from a train station, which is one stop away from Antwerp Central. The staff at check in are friendly and professional. The big cons for us were these two situations; 1) When we got to our room and started settling down, I spotted underwear (previous occupants') which had found its way under one of the furniture in the room. It turned out to be clean but we informed reception on our way out into the city and they quickly apologised and had someone sent to our room to clear that out. - Cleaners could do a better job giving one last check when cleaning rooms between occupants, though I do understand that the days we were there was when the hotel was fully booked. But still. 2) That night, around 11.30pm when we were in our room with the window shut, we started hearing people shouting like hooligans from outside on the street -- so we shouted at them from our room o keep quiet as it was late and shut the window again. Then we started hearing these guys (4 or 5 of them) shout at us to go down and fight them (?) and asking us what our room number was (??). We also saw them trying to count the floors and windows. Obviously we didn't tell them, but we informed reception. About an hour later, there was VERY loud banging on our door and shouting for us to come out, once again we called reception and after a while the shouts stopped. We didn't feel very safe even to go out to the smoking area, so we called reception for some kind of help or assurance (and later on went down to talk to the person at reception at the time (the night reception, named Wim) to which we were told that; - Ppl shouting at us from the street below for our room number to go down to fight, & the people banging on our door to come out and fight was *apparently* not the same ppl. - Ppl banging on our door, was apparently a drunkard banging on everyone's door, and may not even have been a customer of theirs (which is extremely unlikely). - That we shouldn't have shouted back at them to keep quiet, because apparently it was fine to be shouting on the street directly outside the hotel up till 2am. The entire time he didn't apologise for the disturbance or reassure us even once that we would be safe - only said that they could help to call the police if something happened. -- Basically the night reception was really bad, and I was honestly worried for our safety that first night. Wasn't great.

I had a very negative experience with the front desk staff that checked me in this past week. My husband and I booked a stay at this hotel back in April for 4 nights. They sent me an email stating that they weren't able to charge my credit card on the reservation, which made sense because we had forgotten we had just received a new card to replace the expired one. They asked that I look at my account, so they can charge a new card. If I failed to do that in 24 hours, then my booking would be cancelled. Approx 13 hours of receiving that email, I went in and updated the credit card information on the account and sent them an email confirming I did so. When I arrived at this hotel to check in a month later (which was this past week), the front desk staff told me that the reservation was cancelled. I showed them the email that they sent me and the one I had sent to them. I also showed them my original reservation number. They looked into it for a while, but they told me that ultimately the reservation was cancelled so they can't do anything. They were also all booked up on one of the four nights we were supposed to stay there, so they could only check us in for 2 nights (Thurs-Fri). Up to this point, I was confused but I wasn't upset. I understand things can happen, and I was eager to work this out. However, what really pushed me over the edge was the fact that the front desk staff showed no empathy for the situation I was in. I told them that I never received any email that my reservation was cancelled. I even asked if there were any other alternative hotels, as we were traveling from outside the country and did not know the area well. The staff person I was talking to responded with very little attempt at professionalism, and instead told me that we should solve this ”later” as I was holding up the line. I believe her words were along the lines of, ”you should turn around, look at the line.” When I asked her when ”later” would be, she let out a small laugh which was a very confusing response to what I thought was a valid question. This is when I was starting to feel incredulous. I wanted her assistance, but I got rudeness and condescension in return. I tried my best not to raise my voice even though I was getting frustrated, and I told her that I felt I was getting penalized for something that wasn't my fault. Still, there was no attempt to help me with the situation, and I felt like I was being waved away. At the very end of our interaction, the staff person told me that if there is a room that opens up on Sat they would contact me to let me know. I asked how they would contact me on updates (would it be through the hotel phone? My international number? Call, email, or text?) and I received a very frustrated look and a sigh in return, not a helpful response. I am still unsure why she acted this way, when I genuinely wanted to understand how I would be contacted. (And they never actually contacted me... even to tell me they were still all boo

GGuest UserBeautiful and sparkling new and clean hotel! Great service lovely products and a good stay.
My Only comment was that the ‘plant based’ kitchen offered real bacon and eggs for breakfast. Stick to your principles! This felt very unauthentic.
Tiny gripe for a beautiful hotel
GGuest UserIf it wasn't for the fact my room seemed unkempt, this hotel would have been perfect. The bathroom seem to have issues with the plumbing, and the bed sheets were stained. 🤮 I hope it was an isolated case, regardless, unacceptable! Everything else was fantastic, the hotel personal was professional, friendly, and polite. The breakfast was amazing, very good quality buffet (not included). The location was amazing, only 100 meters from the train station (a straight shot to Brussels airport), about a 10 minute walk to Old Town. Shops and good restaurants can be found in the immediate surroundings.
We (couple) took an apartment with separated room, and it was roomy and very quiet. Everything was clean, and almost as important, new (2023). I asked in my reservation for a second duvet for the bed, as my better half is a duvet-hogger, and it was there when we arrived. It was a double width too, so we ended up with lots of duvet on the bed, but as the bed was wide enough, that was no problem. The pillows where a bit high for our taste. There were three to choose, and the thinnest one was just on the line for us, but we slept all right. Bed is confy, with that ”thick mattress with thin mattress on top” concept. Movement from one side to the other travels more that in a full viscoelastic mattress, but less than in a spring one, so it was ok for us. The hotel has two buildings, connected by a first-floor gangway with apartments on the sides. We got an apartment, the number 111, that was in that connection, and it was really quiet, the windows looking to some inside court, rather wide, and I think no neighbouring apartments at all. We went at the time of some big festival in Antwerp, and we heard nothing either from outside or from the neighbours. Only drawback of this particular room is that the bathroom is adapted for wheelchairs, so the shower is covered by just a curtain and with a couple of supports that restrict movement a bit, but that was a minor inconvenience for us. On the plus side, the bathroom was really big. We liked the decoration, and the lighting possibilities too. The oven is a combination microwave-grill, and was clean too, as I say, everything is rather new so that can change with time. All in all, a very good experience.
Hotel was clean and comfortable, and only a 1/2hr walk from city centre. Night clerk Berkay went above and beyond with late night service, ordering pizza when all local restaurants closed after late return from nearby event. Life saver!
MMathieu Jean-BaptisteGreat location so close to the train station and between 2 subways stations! Service ok, cleanliness ok but could be improved (I can tell that it was clean but not deep on the table, and the soap/shampoo dispenser was kind of broken so it spread all around bathtub)
GGuest UserSuper General manager, Super hosts,
I would definitely book this hotel again and again if the service and terms would be the same.
Central located, check-in procedure was easy.
Bar with snacks/food/drinks was a excetional service :)
Tip The bathroom smell - Can be solved to change/clean the drain/sifon.
Tip: Airconditioning was'nt there or the instructions to put the airconditioning on was unclear. The room was too hot to sleepwell. Opening windows was a solution but then the sound of the voices among the streets was too loud.
Tip: Lack of service with our booking. While I was trying to pay in advance. There was a pop-up message that mu room with breakfast wasnt available. But the payment process was still ongoing. After that, I saw I booked a Superior Room without Breakfast. I was paying more for what I wanted in first instance. There was no solution from the Hotel and/or Trip.com.
GGuest UserWarm welcome. Nice clean & modern reception / rooms / bar. Bedrooms adequate size, clean, crisp white linen on comfortable beds. Smallish, but brand new shower room. Good quality 'pod system' coffee machine. Nice quality free toiletries. Not a lot of space for sitting / chilling and the bar shut at 8, but not a major issue as places to eat and drink til midnight within 50 yards, yet still quiet.. Three stars and better than the ( rubbish ) four star we left in Brussels. Would recommend this hotel
Came for 2 days, stayed the whole week. Centrally located, just short walk from Antwerp's central station. Rooms are a bit outdated but still cozy. During the cold winter it could be a bit cold in rooms due to not so good heat isolation, but I stayed here in pretty warm spring and no problem. Everything is clean, staff nice and helpful. A place to stay again when I am back in Antwerp. ❤️
MMete ArslanGood location, near the central train station and close to restaurants and pubs.
Breakfast was decent. The room was ok.
The airconditioning didn’t work and it was pretty humid and warm at night.
I reserved a room for myself and a friend one month in advance for an event in Antwerp Sportpaleis. When we arrived at the hotel, we discovered it was not twin separate beds.
The receptionist was rude and wasn’t helpful to change the room to separate twin beds. He made us wait until 1:30 AM in the morning to change into a twin bed room instead of one queen size bed.
Please be more flexible and customer first minded.
