A surprisingly pleasant stay. The hotel arranged a pick-up service, and our driver was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He immediately shared tips on local must-visit spots and dining options on the nearby street, even giving a brief introduction to the unique features of Changbai Mountain. The legendary hospitality of Northeasterners was immediately evident! The hydrangeas lining the streets were absolutely gorgeous, adorning the entire block, truly brightening my mood. The front desk attendant was lovely. The absolute best part is how incredibly safe the area feels. With the Public Security Bureau, a military administrative zone, and the City Procuratorate all nearby, solo female travelers can feel completely at ease. It's also very close to the North Slope shuttle center; I just walked there. Visiting during the off-peak season this time of year allowed me to fully experience the beautiful golden autumn of Changbai Mountain in September. The weather was perfect, neither too cold nor too hot, and I got to admire the stunning beauty of Tianchi Lake.

Our stay at Changbaishan Huazhu Hotel was a delightful surprise! Traveling during the off-season offered fantastic value for money, and our whole family even received a complimentary room upgrade. The hotel boasts a 'light luxury' design, offering a perfect balance of sophistication and warmth. Both the older and younger members of our family absolutely adored it! The breakfast was a highlight for me – it was exquisite and catered to all tastes. Every member of our family, from young to old, found something they loved. What was most convenient was that the Enduli performance venue was just a short walk away in the evening. The show perfectly blends folk culture with stunning visual and auditory effects. The adults enjoyed the lively spectacle, while the kids were fascinated by the new experience – our whole family had an absolutely wonderful time! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a family trip to Changbaishan, especially during the off-season. With fewer crowds, the experience is even better, and both the service and environment are truly top-notch!

The hotel is good, but for foreigners without Chinese moving around, the small city is not easy. It is just so hard to grab a taxi. The last day, the hotel was unable to provide transportation back to the train station. The other night, it was also hard to get a taxi to go for dinner. We needed to wait for the bus and walk. It is not a big distance, but with elders and small kids in freezing temperatures, it is not fun. The hotel is closed to the north entrance for Changbai, but it is a bit far from downtown, where the most people are and the restaurants are. In the end, you can rely on the hotel for transportation.

I booked a triple room, which had two bedrooms, a major advantage. The room was spacious, with a 1.8-meter bed and automatic curtains. The wet and dry areas were separate, and it was about a 10-minute walk from the distribution center. The Erdaobai River is nearby, and a morning stroll along its banks is very pleasant. Taxis were readily available outside of peak season. This is a guesthouse, and while the facilities were initially quite good, there's room for improvement in maintenance and cleanliness. There were small insects on the window frames, the bathroom ventilation was faulty, there was some hair on the sheets, the TV required payment, and the internet connection was unreliable. The breakfast buffet was filling, but the taste was disappointing; the shredded meat was tough, except for the salted duck egg and millet porridge. Bottled water was self-service on the first floor. The service can't be compared to a star-rated hotel, but the female receptionist was quite welcoming.

You can walk to Baekdu Mountain and the Widing Market. I've stayed at many other hotels, but this one was the best. The porridge service, which starts at 9:30 PM, was excellent. The pickup service was also great, and all the staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. The laundry room was the best part of this hotel. It was better than any other luxury hotel. The weather was good, so we were able to see Cheonji. Good luck to everyone.

This hotel was absolutely fantastic! The service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly hospitable. The rooms were immaculate and well-kept. The breakfast was lavish and offered a great variety. The front desk staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful; they even provided complimentary afternoon tea at reception. And upon check-out, we were given a lovely parting gift. An absolutely wonderful experience! I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit to Changbai Mountain.

Check in area was quite messy, not properly organised. Only one staff to attend to check in/check out when we arrive at evening time. Day time could be better. Need to get breakfast coupon during check in (if you booked with breakfast), and dining area is the hotel beside. Staff in charge of local tour package is helpful and assist us to book the tour as the ticket to Changbaishan was fully sold out. Apparently, visiting Changbaishan needs to pre-book your ticket beforehand to avoid disappointment. Local tour we joined was pretty good as one will be ferried around the 3 main visiting spots by coach. Main plus point is that the hotel is near a hotspring hotel and the entrance point of north slope (both within 3-5 mins walking distance from hotel).

Come to Changbai Mountain, software accidentally saw not small courtyard B&B, B&B environment is very beautiful, the owner couple is very enthusiastic and very talkative, basic requests, behind the B&B is the Chinese Autumn Sand Duck Park, Enduli is also nearby, walk over is 10 minutes, take a taxi It is not far to the town's attractions, to the north slope of Changbai Mountain Collection Center, Cedar Reindeer Park is also about 10 minutes, walk to Yunding Market is also 10 minutes, the experience of homestay is very good, if the autumn colors are good, sitting by the window of the room is also very out.

This is the closest hotel to the North Slope Visitor Center. As a branded chain, it offers cleanliness and reliability, which is always reassuring. I was genuinely surprised by the sheer size of the room! The hotel has a charming, cabin-like design with a pointed roof, and the rooms are incredibly spacious and comfortable. We also encountered the very warm and helpful owner who assisted us in resolving several issues. Highly recommended!

The hotel is very close to the distribution center and has a quiet and comfortable location. There's even a deer park in the courtyard where you can see the deer. The breakfast is plentiful, and the service from every staff member is excellent. The housekeeper is very attentive and responds to messages promptly. The hotel also prioritizes customer service. The rooms are well-equipped and decorated in a simple, elegant style. I'll definitely stay again.
