Very nice staff (even if no english speaking) and confortable room. It's only a bit more than 1km from the north entrance of the park. Breakfast is OK.

The hotel was great. We had a tour guide assigned to us from the hotel, but he was very good at his job and made it a point to take us to do as many things as possible. The location is wonderful, only a few minutes walk from the bussing location to Baekdusan/Changbai Mountain. Currently, in August 2023, the tourist area is a bit rundown and many hotels and buildings are empty due to COVID-19 and China’s reopening. However, the hotel is right across the street from a wetlands park with wonderful walking paths. There also, as of August 2023, is a circus conducting performances within a 5 minute walk.
The rooms were not cleaned well and the cleaning is up to the guests. The staff only restocked the bathroom towels and made the bed. The staff did not take out the trash in the room.
