Hotel Lakana Ramena

Almost all descriptions made by the owner are NOT true . 1) distance from Ramena beach Is 3km and not 500 meters as stated. This Is a huge difference since there are no taxi or service at hotel and you have to walk for 3 km under the Hot sun to arrive at the center. At night there are no light o walk and Dangerous . 2) distance for hotel beach Is approx 500 MTS walk , the problem Is that you cannot swimm at their beach since the water Is 20cm Deep and the dept Is full of water grass. 3) the pool May Be 10 years ago was good , now the water Is hot due to the engine malfunctions 4) the bungalows have no frigobar , no AC but old 'house' ventilator , the bungalows itself Is open between the walls and the roof , and the water Is stored in boyler so It falls slow and finish soon. 5) wifi available only in the restaurant area. 6) restaurant Is good even if more expensive than avarage rest in Madagascar. 7) waiter Is kind and helpful 8) they charge 3% on payment by card To sum up it's a bit higher than a camping Place, absolutely too expensive in regard of the service offered.

Nice and clean bungalows 3 minutes from the beach with additional 10 minutes walk to the village center. The beach is nice. When we were there few lemurs were in the garden in the morning. The hotel is not far from the excellent Tchi Pres restaurant
