Chez Daniel
4.6/547 Reviews
Wonderful place away from the center of Antigua. Peaceful location with breakfast, hot shower and spacious rooms. Veronica and Daniel are great too! I was there during a hot spell and Veronica got me a fan for the room. I would have liked more guests, cooler temperatures and no dogs barking but none of those things are in our control. I recommend Chez Daniel anytime. It was a great stay.
Socialtel Antigua - Formerly Selina Antigua

OMG! This is the best hostel I have ever stayed in! The hostel is very large, the rooms are a little smaller, they are all independent, there is also a separate bathroom outside the door, you can take a shower, separate dry and wet, very clean, the hot water is really great! The lawn is huge, and there is a real bed hanging, you can lie down and take pictures, and put pillows! Hahaha, outside the porch are all that kind of hammocks. The kitchen is also very good, just buy oil and salt, three refrigerators, and a swimming pool, a rest place built with school bus, surrounded by chairs and sofas, there is a beverage hall, there are billiards to play, and a quiet The lounge is very big, and there are two small wooden houses, you can do your own things quietly. There is actually a movie theater! ! ! It's a projector! ! You can watch Youtube and search for Sansei III pillow books. Change the language of Apple TV and remember. There is also a large new concept restaurant with a particularly avant-garde decoration, like that of a domestic shopping mall. It is a bit expensive, 50-70 RMB per person. The bed in the hostel is really great! Two pillows! Very comfortable hotel specifications! Especially new! The quilt is also a solid thick quilt! There are also small lights, a plug and 2 USB jacks! Anyway, it's great! The yard is huge! There are several towering trees that are avocado trees, which bear a lot of fruit, and I just happened to fall one. The staff is good at English, cleans them meticulously, and the toilets are disinfected. So when I used it the next day, it smelled like disinfectant.
Hotel Museo Spa Casa Santo Domingo
4.4/5102 Reviews
I've visited Casa Santo Domingo a few times for events, but this was my first time staying. It's a lovely, dramatic hotel. Fixtures and decore of the rooms is a bit dated, but the hotel is built around a historic experience. Morning and afternoon coffee and morning sweetbread was excellent. Pool is lovely and there is a really nice green space for kids to run around. Returned in the evening to light jazz playing on the TV and the room straightened, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately did not have the chance to visit the restaurant, but the Guatemalan food buffet has a great reputation. The underground parking (free) is a great benefit.
Hotel Gran Plaza Euromaya
4/519 Reviews
Hotel Gran Euromaya has the best location at a very nice price! Couldn’t have picked a better location to stay in Antigua! Located right by Central Park, around the corner from Santa Catalina Arch and short walking distance to all the restaurants and attractions in Antigua. The staff was very nice, helpful and friendly. Our room was charming and much bigger than other rooms I saw. There’s free wifi and while there’s no AC it is not need it, as the evenings are cool in Antigua. The hotel overall is very charming and quaint. It gives you the experience as if you were staying at one of the local homes. It has a rooftop with amazing views of the city and the volcanos. Highly recommend!
