We had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Le Relais du Postillon. Position is 5 star and easy to walk to the Old Town and perfect for our overnight stop. We parked in the car park nearby and by paying with the hotel direct when you check out is cheaper than paying in the actual car park. We were given a warm welcome on arrival and upgraded to a lovely room overlooking the square on the fourth floor. The continental buffet breakfast was very good. I highly recommend this hotel.

I loved this hotel! There were mixed reviews and I booked anyway as the location is excellent for exploring Antibes and surrounding areas being close with to bus stops and restaurants nearby. I found the rooms to be quiet and well appointed with very comfortable beds and linens The elevator did not bother me at all and I am assuming the people that gave poor reviews based on the elevator are extremely light sleepers. Also, the staff is very nice and helpful. Once again the poor reviews must be from grumpy people. I loved my stay and cannot wait to return!

Rooms have no sound proofing at all so noise from voices & TVs (attached to dividing wall) means you could be in your neighbours room. Rooms are around the lift so you hear the noise from that as well as everyone coming in late in the evening. For a 3 star hotel the towels are threadbare. Internet constantly drops out. The room I was in & rhe bathroom are very small, There was barely space to put a suitcase. Staff & breakfast really nice just unfortunate about the noise issues - I could even forgive the size of the room if not for the noise.

This is a lovely 600-year-old old building and surprisingly quiet considering it's on a public square (and we were there on Saturday night). Breakfast was fine and it looked as if the restaurant/open air eating and drinking were also good. We had to book at short notice and were told that we'd need to stay in a small double room for one night but would then be moved to a larger room with twin beds... This sadly seems to have been untrue. We did manage to get a room with a spare sofa-bed on the second night, but only after making a fuss. So that was sad. I must commend the showers in both rooms , the only hotel showers I've every used that didn't leak onto the floor! Old-fashioned but great. Other things, not so good. The lift for instance has to be reached by several stairs on each floor, so it's not really accessible and it was hard to heave the luggage in. This is probably understandable in such a historic building but not ideal for the older guest... If you are fit, this is a really nice central but quiet place just minutes from the bus and train stations in one direction and the old town squares and Provencal market in the other. Not far either from the old port and the town beach underneath the old ramparts... But for someone with a slight back and knee injury like me it wasn't ideal.

The receptionist is the owner was very rude when i refused the room and asked for other one. I booked the room i went up to see it and directly in less than 1 min i went back to receiption to cancel and he said is not possible to cancel which is kind of scam

Magnificent sunny terrace ideal for a pastis aperitif. Very smiling and helpful staff, René the patriarch is very responsive and happy to chat with customers. his son JB is also very welcoming. Enjoyable strong musical atmosphere. Well done to the whole team and brigade. AP

Super nice hotel, very clean in the city center. The team is very pleasant and cheerful, the breakfast is plentiful and of good quality, plus they have a very nice and well-exposed terrace. I recommend and would return.

The room prices are exaggerated in comparison with the quality of the services offered. In the first room we were in the bed was very small (140 cm x 190 cm) while I am 193 cm tall. The cushions were square and very uncomfortable. The towels in the bathroom were also very small and of poor quality. The positive point of this room was the small terrace overlooking the square, a very beautiful view. From the third day we moved to a superior room, slightly larger but the price was definitely too expensive. Toilet paper was already started and no extra roll. No blanket for the bed, we asked for one at reception with other things but the person forgot to bring it for us. Once reminded, she brings us a duvet with its “cover” but it was actually a flat sheet but not a duvet cover. The most amazing thing was the state of the wallpaper behind the bed, an incredible amount of dust was on it, no one had ever cleaned it before (see photos) However, the bed in the second bedroom was slightly more large (160 cm x 190 cm) and much more comfortable The breakfast waiter was very rude to me even though I was a hotel guest.
