We’re in France for three weeks celebrating my birthday and went to the Eden Roc today (in our Toyota rental!) to eat lunch. We had done this a few years ago when we were in Nice and loved it. We didn’t have a reservation, but after a call, the gentleman said we could drive in. When we arrived at the restaurant entrance, we were greeted by Michel like old friends. He could not be more charming, handsome or welcoming! What a fabulous ambassador he is for the hotel. The entire experience was delightful, (even though my hamburger wasn’t cooked enough), and we won’t hesitate to return.

Disappointing Experience – More Golf Club Than Grande Dame I stayed at Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc expecting timeless luxury and serenity, but unfortunately the experience fell short on multiple levels. While the estate is large and impressive from the outside, it felt more like a golf club or upscale shopping complex than a refined luxury retreat. There’s a slightly chaotic atmosphere, especially around the pool, which was crowded and lacked any real sense of privacy or relaxation. The restaurants were surprisingly average — both in service and cuisine — and far below the standard one expects from a property of this reputation and price point. Service throughout the hotel was inconsistent and at times inattentive, further adding to a sense of disconnection. There are a lot of staff, but they don’t seem to do anything. They also started a extremely loud disco at 11:30 at At Night which woke me up playing very bad music. The rooms themselves were comfortable, and the beds and linen were indeed luxurious, but sadly that’s where the experience peaked. Everything beyond the room — from the ambience to the food and service — felt shabby and underwhelming, more reminiscent of a country club than an iconic hotel. For the price, and the legend this hotel carries, it simply didn’t live up to the standard. I left feeling more irritated than pampered.

Everything was wonderful, but just to mention — the ‘Tradition Room two Fountains’ was a bit misleading. It said courtyard view, but in reality it faced the parking area with some artificial greenery, and no fountains in sight Maybe it would be good to mention the parking view in the room description. The hotel is really beautiful, and I think guests prefer honest details — it helps manage expectations and avoids disappointment.

My husband made a reservation for lunch for 9 people to celebrate my birthday. It is not the first time that we have been to Eden Roc and we have always loved it but yesterday the food was terrible. We did not make a complaint at the time because it was my birthday and we didn’t want to cause a fuss and ruin the day especially with our friends and children there. The steak was overcooked and the moules were the worst we have ever had on the Cote d’Azure. We did send one of the dishes back because it was cold but the replacement was actually worse. The frites were also cold and overcooked and to be honest inedible. It’s not good enough really when the bill was over €2000 is it? The fact that the venue is so incredible and the service is fantastic meant that we still had a wonderful day. I just feel that you should know that the food was terrible and has made me feel that maybe we won’t return which is such a shame as Eden Roc has always been my favourite place to visit and stay.

Easily, the most luxurious hotel I've ever stayed in! The location overlooking the Mediterranean is breathtaking. The classic architecture, subtlety of design, lush landscaping and modern art pieces are combine for a magical experience.

If I could give this hotel six stars, I would! The attention to detail was mind-blowing - from the perfectly pressed linens to the meticulously curated local art adorning the walls. The concierge was a fountain oOFFICIALOFFICIAf knowledge, guiding us to hidden gems we would have never discovered on our own. The rooftop bar offered craft cocktails that were works of art in themselves, complemented by a view th

What a delightful surprise this property turned out to be! The perfect fusion of comfort and style, with staff who truly seem to enjoy making guests happy. The room was spotless and well-maintained, with modern amenities that actually made sense. The public spaces were inviting and well-designed, making both work and relaxation equally enjoyable.

As a frequent business traveler, I've seen my fair share of hotels. This one stands out for its attention to the needs of working guests. The in-room workstations are ergonomic and well-designed, the Wi-Fi is lightning-fast, and the 24/7 business center is equipped with everything you might need. But it's not all work - the fitness center and pool provided the perfe

Who knew a hotel could feel like a time machine? The vintage decor transported me to a glamorous bygone era, while the amenities were thoroughly modern. The bar staff mixed cocktails with the flair of 1920s bartenders, and I half expected to see flappers dancing in the lounge. A delightful blend of nostalgia and comfort that left me grinning like a silent film star.
