The good: Art deco throughout, it’s a stylish building and the interiors, rooms and bathrooms follow suit taking you back to the roaring 20s. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Breakfast in La Rotonde, or outside on the terrace, has plenty of options including a huge honeycomb full of the most delicate honey. Lunch on the top floor terrace was enjoyable. The not so good: The former Provençal Hotel, between this hotel and the sea, is undergoing renovations to become a suite of luxury apartments. The builders start at 7am so don’t expect to be able to lie in. Breakfast service was a bit haphazard, including running out of teapot lids?! Service on the rooftop restaurant at lunch was slow, had to be reminded about a coffee order, and then brought the wrong bill. The sun loungers on the roof terrace are sparse, and ‘reserved’ by guests who then didn’t use them all day. The plug in the basin broke so the basin wouldn’t empty on our last evening and they were unable to fix it before we left. Due to another plumbing issue we were phoned the day before arrival that our room choice was no longer available but they would put us in the next grade down with a 25% discount. The discount wasn’t applied to the bill, but was corrected immediately when raised. Summary: A lovely small hotel with a bit of character and history on Cap d’Antibes. You should be warned about the building work nearby before you book because it’s quite intrusive.

Finally, a hotel that treats you according to your status. They check your arrival with you, welcome you according to your status on loyalty program even if it is the 1st stay (upgraded room, welcome pack, priority checkin, etc). Great food at the hotel and not overly priced. All staff was very nice.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this hotel (despite the best efforts of the friendly staff). Here's why: - Check-in/room situation was terrible. Our first room had such a terrible smell, we had to head back to reception. After waiting for a second room to be found/prepared, we discovered water leaking from the AC vents in the ceiling (significant enough for the carpet to be sopping wet. Won't post the video here). Another trip down to reception with our luggage and we told them to sort it out while we left our things there, so we could try to actually enjoy some of the afternoon. To their credit they upgraded us to a junior suite, which was nice, but it had its own issues - though no bad smell, thankfully. The hallway had piles of used dishes and take out containers every day which stank. We had to continually ask the staff to clear it. This did nothing to help the constant garbage/sewage./toilet smells leafing up to our room's door. - If you're looking for an actual pool, this hotel doesn't have one. It's a small plunge. - My partner and I both got food poisoning at breakfast. Thankfully, I only tasted a small amount of partner's meal, so my sickness was far less intense. My partner was really sick and bedridden for the last day/night of our trip. The property clearly suffers from maintenance issues. Though both of us getting food poising could just be bad luck, it's hard not to think there's a broader quality/cleanliness/maintenance issue at play. The staff did their best to be helpful and always responded to questions and requests with a smile, which was really appreciated. We would choose a different property if returning to Juan Les Pins.

The hotel is very nice, staff are excellent. Overall it was a very good experience, although the hotel didn't really have a lounge area to sit and relax. The rooftop bar was good, lovely view but could only be used in good weather. Sadly you could not have breakfast there, only dinner. Breakfast was in a small downstairs room. The room was nice, very clean and plenty of space. A downside - there us a lot of noisy building work happening next door which was annoying if you were sitting on your balcony or in the rooftop bar. In our opinion, the hotel needs a refresh as it's looking very tired in the hallways to the rooms.

Lovely refurbished hotel in art deco style in a good spot for all JLP offers . Happy with room and shower and storage . Breakfast choice and service all excellent in a lovely dining room . The rooftop area is very nice but the service is not so good , I expected waiter service but on multiple visits I had to order drinks at the bar after sitting waiting a long time it was clear no waiter service which is not what I expect in 4* hotel . I would however return here we all had a fab family time and overall experience was good.

Stayed for a week in this chic Juan Les Pins establishment. Room and facilities good; breakfast in fabulous ground floor salon was first class. Rooftop restaurant / bar and small pool are a real plus. Staff were polite and helpful. About a 15 minute stroll to the SNCF station, with connections everywhere. Beach is very good along with a variety of shops and restaurants (bought a fabulous Panama hat from a specialist shop - well worth a visit in its own right). Highly recommended.

Booked a sea view room, what a joke! View of a building site and some trees. Tried to solve with customer service and received nothing useful or helpful in return, embarrassing really. So 0/10 for the hotel and 0/10 for the customer service. Avoid this place.

Disappointing and under serviced! We stayed here for 3 nights. The air conditioning of the hotel does not work and we woke up in sweat all nights. On advising the reception on day 1, we were told nothing could be done and we should open the balcony door and sleep! Empty lotion bottle in the bathroom, no towel and water in the gym. The staff are not any help either despite requesting assistance and for the price you pay to stay at this hotel it is a rip off! As a gold Accor member no consideration either. My advice would be to look at other hotels.

Stayed more than 20 nights combined at Le 1932 Hotel & Spa Cap d'Antibes, this time around was a little bit of a letdown. What sets this property apart was and is still its staff. I trust that management is doing everything they can to keep that at all cost. Everyone is trying their best to be helpful and create a great experience. Couple of things went amiss: - Some rooms are in dire need for a bit of repainting, there's mold in the bathrooms (yes with an "s"), by the shower/tub. That was already the case in previous stays. - Breakfast is chaos. On a busy weekend, the property clearly can't accommodate numbers. You have to wait, which is fine. It would be even nicer to be told prior. Properties with limited space implement programs where customers are told when there are crowds, it is very helpful. Despite chaos, the size of the dining area is still overwhelming for the staff presence. Breakfast spread is hardly replenished, buffet looks like a war zone. Also note that your only choice of a cooked breakfast will be omelet. No french toast, no eggs Benedict. That's bit of a letdown for a EUR29.00 breakfast. - No recognition as a Diamond member this time around. When enquiring, I was told that a bottle of champagne *should* have been delivered. The property had more than a week to get that done. To the defense of the property representative, I was offered it upon departure.
