The surrounding area is very quiet, the room is spacious and bright, the front desk service is good 👍 breakfast is very good.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Paso Del Norte and it has been one of our favorite hotel stays of the year! Everything was great: the service, the room, the amenities, and the location. We have stayed at a few historical hotels like this one but this one stands out the most as they did such a great job in renovating the rooms but also preserving the character of the hotel and its history. We highly recommend having a drink in the stunning lobby bar and having Sunday brunch at the hotel restaurant. The hotel has a small pool and deck area and it does get crowded but we enjoyed it early in the morning after a workout in the well-equipped gym with views. We also found the staff very friendly and helpful. They gave us ice water to go after breakfast after hearing about our day's plans to explore and reminded us to stay hydrated. Thank you for that!

After wandering the streets trying to find an open bar, we stumbled upon the plaza hotel. Bryan was awesome! Our first interaction was met with water for the whole table and a drink menu. He was so nice, attentive and funny! He had great drink recommendations and humored us in our search for a Fireball shot. Thank you Bryan, for your impeccable service!

We have stayed here several times and always liked it. The location is great and the rooms are comfortable. The value is good and there are many restaurants nearby. There is a lot of deferred maintenance in the hotel. Public areas and rooms. We stay at HGIs so we can eat in. The restaurant only had Pino Grigio for a white wine choice. We drink Chardonnay. The server had no idea what we were talking about, so we left and went to a nearby restaurant.
