Nice guest house right in the centre of Tana. The owner is nice and speaks good English. The staff is very polite (especially the outdoor staff and the cooking staff) and they try to help you as much as they can despite their limited English knowledge. The rooms are very simple, some might say even basic, but there is everything you need. The breakfast is again very simple, but nice. Arrival was a bit scary because we booked an airport pick up at night, and the guy from the house that came to pick us up in The airport spoke no English. When we arrived and he stopped in the middle of a dark road, with no hotel in sight, we thought he might have bad intentions (it was also our first time in Tana). Thankfully we manage to speak to the owner and the situation was resolved, but what a strat of our journey!

The Maison d'Hôtes Mandrosoa is a beautiful typical Malagasy house in the heart of Antananarivo. It is near the main market, the Avenue de l'Independence and a short taxi ride to the Rova and the surrounding area. The hosts were lovely and breakfast was really good. The studio 'room' was very nice and spacious, with comfortable beds, hot water shower and a beautiful 180-degree view of Antananarivo.

Stupenda sorpresa! Piccolo hotel nel centro di Tana, con giardino privato e piscina con vista sulla città! Una vera oasi di pace. Le camere sono carine, con pulizia e arredamento da standard occidentali. Abbiamo cenato nell’hotel, nonostante fossimo gli unici ospiti la cena è stata ottima, un pasto cucinato in casa. Abbiamo apprezzato anche la colazione con uova e crêpes fresche. Il tutto ad un prezzo davvero ottimo - camera, cena, colazione e qualche birra a 53€
