"This property boasts stunning views and spacious rooms, making it a promising stay. However, I’m giving it three stars due to issues with cleanliness and maintenance. Upon checking in, we found our room dirty, with hair and even a cockroach. While the staff accommodated us by changing our room, the second one unfortunately lacked the partial sea view we had originally booked.
Throughout our stay, we had to remind the staff daily to provide water, and we occasionally had to request additional cleaning. The management's lack of proactivity was disappointing, as this property has the potential to be a five-star experience with better upkeep. The first floor also had a strange urine-like smell, possibly from a leak, which was quite unpleasant.
On a positive note, the property features a lovely pool and breathtaking ocean views from the cliffside. If the management improves its cleaning standards and maintenance, this hotel could easily outshine others in the area.
Let me know if you’d like further refinements!"
"I can't recommend this hotel enough. Incredibly clean , comfortable and value for money . Delicious breakfast. Flexible reception staff. They offered me free upgrade and free late checkout. Thanks to Emre the receptionist and all other hotel staff"
"If it is important to rest from the road or spend the night before the flight - an excellent option. The room is spacious, has everything you need. Cleanliness is not ideal, of course, but it will do. The shopping center is nearby - 5 minutes by taxi. A chic shopping center. I even took note of it the next time I just come to relax at the resorts. The pools in the hotel are also normal, not many sun loungers, but enough for everyone. There are not many people at the pools."
"How can a hotel with no integrity operate legally?
On 20 November 2024, I booked a 3-night stay at Casamax Suites (21–24 April 2025) and paid the full amount of SGD 420.66 on the same day. We arrived at Casamax Suites around 9 PM on 21 April 2025 and proceeded with our check-in.
- After presenting our passports and booking confirmation at check-in, the front desk staff notified us that Trip.com had cancelled our reservation.
- We were in shock - how could this be? I hadn't received any cancellation notice from Trip.com. To confirm, I double-checked all my booking details with the front desk staff (booking date, payment date, booking number, etc.). Yet the staff still insisted that Trip.com had canceled our reservation.
- After such a long journey, we simply needed a resolution that would allow us to check in and get some rest.
- The front desk staff demanded we pay €300 before they would allow us to check in for just one night.
- Since it was already late, we reluctantly agreed to pay a €300 deposit to check in first, intending to resolve the issue with Trip.com in the morning. I then provided my credit card to the front desk for the deposit payment.
- Surprisingly, the hotel refused credit card payments. The staff demanded €300 IN CASH ONLY.
- I informed the staff that carrying €300 in cash was impossible since we'd already prepaid our full trip.
- Despite our explanation, the staff refused to let us check in unless we handed over €300 in cash. The staff suggested using the ATM at the hotel entrance to withdraw cash with my credit card.
- This CASH-ONLY DEMAND raises serious concerns.
- We were appalled by the staff’s unprofessional conduct and baseless insistence on cash payment. I formally requested written verification of the alleged cancellation by Trip.com, presenting my payment receipt as proof of the valid booking.
- Only after I challenged them did the staff relent, offering to check us in ‘as an exception’ without payment.
- I escalated this issue to Trip.com the following day, and they explicitly stated that my reservation was never cancelled.
- To avoid further disruption to our travels, we chose to temporarily defer the matter.
Despite our decision to prioritize our trip, the hotel’s misconduct must be addressed to prevent future guests from similar experiences. Meanwhile, we strongly demand the hotel provide a reasonable explanation for what happened that night."
"Large space, new and clean
Convenient transportation, quiet location
Staff is very nice
Breakfast is simpler
Cheese is rich in variety
The quilt is a towel quilt, a bit unaccustomed"
"It was a great trip. The staff at Hotel Lycia were all great, from the reception desk to the breakfast staff to the cleaning staff. Thanks to them, I really liked Turkey.
My husband and I talked about coming back here in 5 years. We had a great boutique hotel experience. They say they used the building from the Ottoman Empire. The hotel is small, but it is very clean and tidy. There are breads, fruits, coffee, and teas in the hallway.
The location is also a 5-minute walk by tram. It is perfect for sightseeing in the old town. They also helped me book a bus ticket to go to Pamukkale.
Breakfast is Mediterranean style, with fresh vegetables, various cheeses, and warm bread.
I recommend it."
"We were satisfied with our stay in these apartments. New, clean, stylish, everything is thought out to the smallest detail. Good stable Internet. Very good bed and mattress. The maids take out the trash, change bed linen and towels! On the -1 floor there are washing machines and an ironing board with an iron. Close to the sea, to the shopping center, shops, restaurants around. The location is very good. We are ready to return to these apartments again and can safely recommend them to friends and acquaintances!"
"Excellent, very central location. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. The room featured a comfortable bed and modern decor. The breakfast spread was varied and satisfying."
"Hotel was lovely clean and helpful. We were unlucky with the weather we couldn’t leave the hotel because of the weather. I feel there could have been more inside entertainment during the day as there was not much to do beside swim.
Maybe this could be improved in future when weather is bad.
Overall we enjoyed the break food and drink."
"Stayed at this hotel for the second time. Everything is clean, good breakfast. Better to take with a view of the pool, the view of the city is terrible. The pool is not cleaned, or they do it rarely."

Amazing
AANASTASIALoads of kids everywhere, happily playing. It felt like they outnumbered the adults. Even in the adults-only (16+) zone, there were guests with infants, and no one seemed to say anything. On Saturday, the disco at the neighboring hotel was so loud you couldn't fall asleep before 11:30 PM.
Overall, the hotel is good – the food was excellent, and the staff were fantastic. The 'fruit hut' was a really cool idea. In the evenings, there was a lounge cafe on the beach with a pleasant waiter. The beach was large and comfortable. Quick and easy transfer from the airport.

Great
YYelena TThe hotel staff is very nice and welcoming. The hotel consists of several buildings and it very much depends, where you get the room. The building with the nicest open view to the sea is under renovation now. My “seaview” room was more the palm trees view, as the floor was not high enough. And there was constant noise from the ventilation system in a different building. The doors are not sound isolated, so everything in the corridor is heard very loudly in the room. The room itself is nice and clean, but on the small side.
GGuest UserGood hotel, but not for a beach holiday!!! Gorgeous lobby and reception area!!! Great food and service!!! Absolutely not thought out territory, everything is very uncomfortable, bad pools and areas next to them, very bad mattresses and pillows, poor soundproofing of the rooms!!! You can only go here as a business hotel for 1-3 days!!! For the third day, we ask you to make us play a volleyball court, but only promises, everyone has already been crippled on it !!! I do not recommend this hotel for a beach holiday!

HHakimuThe view from the hotel is amazing. You get a clear view of the beach along with a partial view of the mountains and the city which is amazing. There is a balcony so you can sit there and enjoy the view to your hearts content and this view does not get old or boring. The hotel is however far from the main city which is Kaleci or Lara beach and it takes a good 15 minute drive to get there which gets expensive by taxi. The hotel is big with a huge lobby and offer everything from a pool table to a spa. It has a patisserie which is part of the all inclusive and you can eat ice cream and other goodies there as well as relax in their lounges. The food and the constant snacks keep one full and happy. Pool is also amazing. All in all the hotel had a lot of things to offer and was definitely value for money. Rooms however were quite small.

EEmmaWe had to switch last minute after construction works at our original villa. The hotel were very accommodating & friendly to us pre & on arrival. The hotel was perfectly located for discovering the old town of Antalya on foot & had plenty of eateries on the doorstep.
Hotel staff were great. Very friendly & helpful throughout our stay. The pool & bar area were great & breakfast was plenty.
We were glad we chose to switch.

GGuest UserGreat hotel at a perfect location, right in front of the train station, Murat pasa, directly opposite the large mall with shops, eating places and entertainment. From the hotel, there are many many Ottoman and Roman historical monuments, mosques and other places of attraction. It sits on the road of high Street which contains many shops and eating places, and bazaars. The harbour and castle are also very near.
Muratpasa mosque, built in 1570, is only 3 minutes away, so convenient for those who which to pray at a mosque and hear the call of prayer from the hotel.
We were only there for two nights, before we relocated to our resort. It was only about 20 minutes from Antalya airport, so was convenient after a late flight from the UK. The staff there ready to welcome you. Some staff also speak Arabic. They were helpful with any inquiries.
The breakfast which we added on was basic but very good. It was served in the restaurant located on level 1. We had the best sweetest watermelon ever! There were a range of breads, salads, eggs, and cereals. It was clean. The staff member there was friendly.
Our room was on the 6th (top) floor. Which was good for a nice view. You could see the tram right below and the mall right opposite. The rooms were spacious for our family of 5. It looked like it was freshly redecorated as I could smell fresh paint. The air conditioning was very good once you figure out what the symbols mean (unless you understand Turkish or use Google translate).
It was neat and basic. The fridge wasn't on when we went but (imo) that would be a waste to run an empty fridge, but once we were there and the key card was in, the fridge cooled our drinks pretty quickly. There is a 'Turkish' double kettle and complementary tea and coffee.
A highly recommended hotel for a sight seeing holiday. Great value for Money.
