Fantastic hotel situated in an incredibly well-preserved Ming dynasty village. Our hosts were very accommodating and the room was fantastic - very clean and a comfortable bed! There are many things to see here, including a Buddhist temple of 500 years one of the mountains the town in nestled beneath. Far different from the new old towns we saw in Lijiang and shangri-la, this village is the real deal and just unbelievable to walk through and explore. We also enjoyed walking down to the nearby town outside the gates. The Karst mountains in this area are extremely dramatic and beautiful to behold. There is a speciality coffee shop and a place to get breakfast near the gate - we suspect that we were visiting outside of peak time as it was generally quiet but that suited us just fine. The host made us wonton and dumpling soup in a vegetable broth which was very nice. The hosts are very kind and they have prepared a wonderful place from which to explore this very special village. It is about a 40 minute taxi from Anshun West station and 20-30 minute taxi into Anshun city. Thank you!

I would give this place a 10/10. It feels like you are transported back in time. The rooms are clean, modern and very cozy. The owner arranged a vegetarian meal for us in the restaurant next door, it was great!

Located in the center of a beautiful ancient village, I was born art hotel is a cute traditional local house. The owners are very helpful and kind. Breakfast isn’t included but we had a delicious bowl of wontons in their small restaurant.
Room was very clean and has a projector if you want to watch movies or tv shows on youku (can easily find english ones).
Highly recommend staying there !
Best value for money !
The village is worth your time, with locals in costume re-playing an ancient wedding and masked fighters. Well done and not too kitch. Villagers were very welcoming.
Also highly recommend a short climb to the temple on top of the mountain.

A very stylish homestay, the owner and the owner's wife are also very nice. They arrived late at night and cooked hot wontons for us, which was very warm. I am very glad that I did not live at the foot of the mountain. It is very quiet here and the environment is also very good. The Tunbu culture is very simple. Climb the mountain and visit the ancient village. There are birds singing and faint flower fragrance everywhere in the mountain. I like it here very much.

The Tunbu itself is halfway up the mountain. You need to climb some steps to enter the fort. About 20 to 30 steps. Try not to bring too much luggage.

Lao Wan was a very nice person. He personally drove us to Jiuzhou Ancient Town to pick us up the mountain. Thank you very much! The whole B&B is very artistic, the room decoration and colors are great, I like it very much! The auntie at the B&B cooks very delicious food, and the small courtyard where you eat is also very atmospheric! It's very cool here, the whole village is quaint, quiet, and a very niche place. The nearby Yunjiu Mountain is worth a visit! It is highly recommended for people who like less crowds, quietness, and coolness to stay here for a night, you will definitely not be disappointed!
