The hotel can be generally considered as a price/performance hotel. The prices are not a bad place according to the price in this period when prices are crazy. Hotel is located very close to train station and close to all Ankara attractions. Very clean and modern…pure joy for any kind of stay, long or short. I stayed at Ankara Gold hotel for 3 nights very recently. The hotel is located in a strategic position between Tunali and Kizilay areas, hence ideal to explore both. It is surrounded by many good priced and good quality restaurant. There is even a restaurant next door that has live music every night. There are a couple of night clubs and adult-themed bars around the area for those who are interested. Besides that, it is a 5 minute walk to Kizilay with all of its restaurants, cafes, shops and vibrant life. It is also a 5 minute to walk to Kocatepe mosque which is an architectural and spiritual gem. The hotel itself is a bit old, and needs some brush up, nevertheless it is clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. The bed was very comfortable, internet connection was good as well. Highly recommended.
