This hotel has nothing to do with design or art. The entrance has random trash scattered and construction wires inside the reception area. Entire entrance and hotel hallways smell of cheap ******* and cigarette smoke. Amateur receptionist, Selçuk could not understand or speak English. The night I checked in, no Wifi in the entire hotel. I have a brand new iPhone and MacBook, the hotel modem had to be reset for a connection. I stayed in room 303. The first thing I noticed was short black hairs on the bed pillows! Disgusting red stains on the carpet which was soggy. The bed & pillows are so old it was like a grandmothers lumpy old abandoned room. The curtains are not long enough to block out the morning light, they are just colored grey, not blackout. The walls are very thin, all night I could hear other guests walking in the hall and having drunken fun in their rooms. I could clearly hear a full-conversation between two young people in the next door room or hall at 3:30am. No privacy as far as sound is concerned. The wallpaper in the room is bubbling and peeling off. Missing lightbulbs in the room. Someone drew on half of the bed frame with lipstick and the carpet is stained with blood or some other red liquid. It’s a nightmare hotel room. Cracks in the ceiling paint above the bed. They promised me that I would be satisfied with the renovated room but this is a real disgusting place. I did not feel safe in the room, I locked the door and put a suitcase behind it just in case since I kept hearing footsteps outside the door and the noises in the nearby rooms. Unclean, unsafe feeling and zero privacy at Candence Hotel. Not a good place for families with children. I would label this as an ‘R’ rated hotel. You can hear the next door couples from 1:00am until 5:00am constantly going at it and very clearly even hear the bed slamming against the walls. Big mistake listening to their ‘newly renovated’ lies. Disgusting place maybe ok for heavy drug users or homeless bums. Tattered ripped up towels and sheets not even a bum would consider worth it.
