We have just returned from a visit to India which included 8 nights at the MansionHaus. Having read a recent review it is hard to believe we stayed at the same hotel so I will just give a review on how we found it. Firstly I want to say this is a small hotel, with only 9 rooms, and clearly that will be a very different experience than staying at a larger hotel with much more facilities but that is exactly what we were looking for. We arrived before 9am in the morning which is around 5 hours before official check in and I was worried that could be a problem. However there was no problem at all and we received a very warm welcome and were shown straight to our suite, the Lenora Suite. The suite was absolutely spotless and stayed that way for the duration of our stay. The suite does not have a private pool it is a shared pool but to be honest for the time we were there it did feel like a private pool. There was no time we went out to sit in the sun or swim when anyone else was there and it felt like we were the only guests. I did notice a couple of times when others used the pool but not when we were out there. A number of times we sat outside and ate but it felt as though we were the only ones there. It was very quiet all the time. The bed was extremely comfortable and high quality beading on. Our bedding was changed every couple of days and the staff turned down the room and refreshed it every night without being asked. This was always done when we were out and it didn't inconvenience us. We had lovely soft towels every day and the room was cleaned daily to a high standard. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for you. Whenever we ordered food and drinks to our room or by the pool it came very quickly. There is 24 hour security on the gate which is nice to see. I'm not going to mention them here because this is a review for the MansionHaus but there are a number of great restaurants close by, just a short taxi ride. I will point out a few things that can be taken as negatives but this is more because it is a small hotel rather than a large resort and I will take these any day. The beds by the pool look great and are very comfortable to lie on. However if you want to spend the day sunbathing they are not practical. You can only lie in one position, you cant lay on you side or front you can only lie facing upwards. We ended up going to the beach every day rather than laying by the pool. Regarding that, we asked the staff for a beach that would be quiet and clean and they recommended the Blue Turtle at Panjim - I would highly recommend that. The food and drink list is limited but you are going to get that with a hotel that small. However the food was really good and they went out of their way do things as we wanted, when we wanted. I will point out one really small thing that they do need to sort out but I believe this is a communication issue, its no big thing either way. When you go in your room there
