I literally hate when I book a room looking at the picture and get something different in reality. I’m a fan of hotsprings , and when I planned this little getaway with my husband, the room with a private outdoor soaking tub caught my eye. According to the photos on Trip.com , the room had a spacious terrace and a cozy corner soaking tub. When we arrived , they gave us some middle room and the soaking tub was right next to neighbors’ one, separated by a short see-through fence, as if we were supposed to bathe all together. When my husband pointed this out to the front desk , they made up some excuse how all the rooms have the same photo on the website and how they can’t change our room saying someone already booked that better room. I can’t confirm but I had a feeling they were lying because I never saw anyone on the terrace of that room.
This unpleasant experience aside, the hotel territory is lovely , they have a glamping area and the swimming pool. Very suitable for families to enjoy . We had a dinner in their restaurant and it was delicious . The Chinese traditional breakfast was included in the room price , it was very fresh and good as well. So in the end I’d still recommend this hotel but if you have a choice better not come during national holidays .

The gampling-bbq area and service is very nice, and the staff was very friendly and helpful all the time. There is electric charging station in the hotel which makes it easy for logistics in the area.
The outside area is still under construction which makes some areas like the pool zoone a bit messy and dirty. The rooms are nice but they are missing wardrobe or places to put the clothes, and the finishing and clealingness could be improved for the price we pay.
The breakfast is quite limited (boiled egg, rice pourridge, pickled veggies and corn). There is no restaurant inside the hotel which is unconvenient. Luckily there is a local restaurant 2 minutes by car and the food is quite good and cheap.

Even though we would have enjoyed our stay a lot more if we had a car, our stay at Muyun Valley was really special. The service is excellent and the hosts make you feel at home and comfortable. I would definitely recommend!

I came to Hello Kitty Paradise and booked a hotel on the spur of the moment. The lady boss was very nice and upgraded the room to a family room. My kids loved it. There is a coffee shop downstairs and you can feed the goldfish, which is another activity that kids like. I accidentally found water celery and fried it with shredded pork at home. It was super delicious😄
